Donald Trump and Mike Pence found themselves at odds after the events of January 6.
Now Trump ended his silence on the matter.
Donald Trump dropped a major bombshell about Mike Pence that no one saw coming.
In an interview with Sean Hannity, former Vice President Mike Pence addressed the status of his relationship with Donald Trump.
Pence tried to make it seem like the two buried the hatchet after Pence refused Trump’s demand to reject the Electoral College results from key states based on Trump’s allegations of fraud.
“I can tell you that we parted amicably at the end of the administration, and we’ve talked a number of times since we both left office,” Pence told Hannity.
But it was Pence’s next comment that attracted the ire of the corporate media and the attention of Donald Trump.
Pence slammed the corporate media for its overblown coverage of the events of January 6 falsely claiming a few hundred Trump supporters attempted to overthrow the United States government and stage an insurrection.
The former vice president explained that the corporate media hyped up the two or three-hour disturbance as a threat to the stability of the republic in order to impugn the character of Donald Trump’s 74,000,000 voters and help Joe Biden declare a new domestic war on terror targeting anyone that opposes the Democrat Party for surveillance and arrest.
“I know the media wants to distract from the Biden administration’s failed agenda by focusing on one day in January. They want to use that one day to try and demean the character and intentions of 74 million Americans who believed we could be strong again and prosperous again and supported our administration in 2016 and 2020,” Pence added.
There was a handful of violent acts that day and the guilty deserved their punishment, but the majority of the arrests were individuals that just entered the Capitol unaware of what they were doing and snapped some selfies and posted on social media.
Even the FBI admitted that after arresting over 600 individuals they uncovered no evidence of an organized plot to storm the Capitol.
Trump praised Pence’s comments and for the first time in months the two were on the same page.
“Vice President Mike Pence’s statement during his interview with the great Sean Hannity very much destroys and discredits the Unselect Committees Witch Hunt on the events of January 6th,” Trump’s statement read. “It will continue anyways, however, because the Fake News doesn’t want to focus on Afghanistan, Russia, Taiwan and China, the Border, inflation, and a failing economy.”
Mike Pence admitted that he and Donald Trump will never see eye to eye on January 6.
Then Vice President Pence did not have the power to overturn the results states certified.
But Pence and Trump both agree that the corporate media hyped the events of January 6 to attack Trump voters and help Democrats in the 2024 presidential election.
