The Democrats have been pointing the fingers at everyone but themselves lately for the beat-down President-elect Donald Trump handed to Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton on Election Day.
The American people spoke and they were sick of the familial and nepotistic government the United States had become.
Following November 8th, Hillary came out publicly to blame FBI Director James Comey for her defeat, because days before the election, Comey and the FBI found newly discovered emails on Anthony Weiner’s computer that had been deleted from Hillary’s private server.
Others blamed the Russians for unproven meddling.
Some liberal voters blamed it on Hillary for ignoring the Rust Belt and not campaigning in Wisconsin even one time.
But now, Clinton advisers are blaming Clinton aide Huma Abedin and those in Clinton’s inner circle for losing the election.
An anonymous Clinton insider told Vanity Fair:
“The real anger is toward Hillary’s inner circle. They reinforced all the bad habits.”
Abedin was the most prominent of figures in Clinton’s inner circle.
Abedin has been offering guidance to Clinton since she served as an intern for President Bill Clinton.
Clinton has kept her core group for a long time, which included campaign manager Robbie Mook, communications director Jennifer Palmieri, adviser Cheryl Mills, campaign manager John Podesta, and of course Huma Abedin.
The Clinton insider also claimed to Vanity Fair that the closeness of the group created problems because they would shut down any new ideas originating outside of their close-knit circle.
That might be why they ignored hard-working Americans in the Rust Belt.
The anonymous insider also said,
“Where in most presidential campaigns the circle grows broader and broader, hers grew smaller and smaller.”
On Abedin, the insider said,
“She was enjoying the red carpet and enjoying the photo spreads much too much, in my opinion. She enjoyed being a celebrity too much.”
Abedin declined interview requests from Vanity Fair for the feature.
Abedin was caught many times crying post-election and even had a public meltdown.
The guilt might have weighed heavy on her because the FBI found Hillary’s sensitive emails on her then-husband Anthony Weiner’s private computer.
This is why Comey reopened the investigation.
But no one is blaming Hillary Clinton and their campaign strategy for their loss.
They’re pointing fingers at everyone but themselves.
It’s quite obvious that the humility is scarce within the Democrat establishment, and this is the proof.
Even guests who attended the Clinton’s Christmas party said it was like attending a funeral.
Good, now maybe she’ll disappear – because I’m not sure the American people could endure another Clinton presidential bid or campaign.
She failed in 2008 and she just failed again.
Hopefully, it’s finally over.
Then again, it would be nice to see President-elect Trump wipe the floor with her one more time!
What do you think about Hillary and her inner circle’s lack of humility and lack of ownership for their failures?
