Polls show Americans may end up with a rematch of the 2020 election next year.
But this time it looks like Joe Biden is at a serious disadvantage.
And you won’t believe who will guarantee Donald Trump defeats Joe Biden in 2024.
The left-wing think tank Third Way published a hair-on-fire memo warning that the liberal group No Labels plans to spend $70 million to get a “unity ticket” on the ballot in all 50 states which will cost Joe Biden the election.
No Labels is a liberal group that promotes the “centrist” fantasy that a pro-abortion, pro-gun control Republican teamed up with a so-called “moderate” Democrat could present an alternative to the Republican and Democrat two-party system.
The No Labels group has been a fantasy of neoliberal donors who opposed the social conservatism of the GOP, but also fear the socialist drift of the Democrat Party.
In 2024 No Labels could field a ticket consisting of RINO Maryland Governor Larry Hogan and West Virginia Democrat Senator Joe Manchin — or some lower-profile facsimiles — which Third Way believes will cost Joe Biden the election.
“[T[he conclusion is inescapable: No Labels is committed to fielding a candidate that will, intentionally or not, provide a crucial boost to Republicans — and a major obstacle to Biden,” Third Way warned. “As a result, they’ll make it far more likely — if not certain — that Donald Trump returns to the White House.”
Third Way analyzed voting patterns in the 2016 and 2020 elections and found that what it called “double haters” — voters who disapproved of both candidates — proved pivotal.
Donald Trump won these voters by 17 points in 2016 and Joe Biden carried them by 15 points four years later.
Third Way reported that polling data shows these “double haters” tend to lean left.
“And an analysis of double haters’ demographics and issue stances indicates that this is a Democratic-leaning group that would tend to support Democrats in a forced choice. Double haters skew younger, with 65% under 50. On specific issues, double haters were 5 points more likely (82%-77%) to say racism is a serious problem in our society, compared to all voters. They were also 7 points more likely (56%-49%) to say Covid was not at all under control in November of 2020,” the Third Way memo explained.
However poll after poll continues to show that voters — including most Democrats — agree Joe Biden is too old to run for president.
A Yahoo/YouGov survey found 68 percent of Americans think Joe Biden should not serve a second term.
That same poll found 48 percent of Democrats agreed with that statement with just 34 percent disagreeing.
These concerns about Joe Biden are due to one factor and one factor only — the fact that Joe Biden would be 86 years old at the end of a second term and a majority of Americans can see that Biden is senile.
Should No Labels field a so-called “unity ticket” it could provide a safe landing spot for “double haters” to vote.
And if enough choose the No Labels ticket it could cost Joe Biden the White House.
