Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) serves as a lightning rod for controversy.
Fetterman’s been keeping secrets from the public for months.
And the link between John Fetterman and this woman made everyone notice one strange thing.
It has not escaped attention that the corporate media treated John Fetterman’s impairment from a near-fatal stroke far differently than Senator Dianne Feinstein missing months away from Washington after suffering from shingles which led to a bout of Ramsay Hunt syndrome.
Fetterman suffered a near-fatal stroke last May that appeared to leave him with severe cognitive impairment that left him unable to coherently speak.
In the closing days of Fetterman’s Senate race Fetterman imploded during a debate with his Republican opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz.
Fetterman was unable to process his thoughts into complete and coherent answers and the performance could have sunk Fetterman’s campaign.
The debate attracted the largest audience Fetterman ever appeared before and if voters saw him as an impaired invalid then Democrats would lose a crucial Senate race.
That’s why the corporate media swooped in like a white knight to recast Fetterman’s cognitive impairment as Fetterman actually standing up as a champion of the disabled.
“One in four Americans has a disability, but disabled politicians are rarely on the national debate stage. That made John Fetterman’s appearance a powerful moment, but public reactions were painful,” The New York Times story about Fetterman read.
“Fetterman debate reaction reveals stigma disabled candidates face,” a Washington Post headline about the debate stated.
“Disabled activists say persistent, ongoing jabs about Fetterman’s condition despite his perseverance on the campaign trail highlight the ways in which ableism turns a condition someone is experiencing into a weapon to be used against them to make assumptions about their abilities,” an ABC News propaganda piece read.
Dianne Feinstein, on the other hand, suffered from a virus that left her neurologically impaired.
Feinstein’s ailment caused her to be absent from the Senate for months.
During that time period Democrats were down a vote and could not ram through Biden’s radical left-wing judicial nominees.
With Biden’s agenda on the line the corporate media was suddenly very interested in every detail of Feinstein’s health as outlets mounted a pressure campaign for Feinstein to resign immediately.
“If she cannot fulfill her obligations to the Senate and to her constituents, she should resign and turn over her responsibilities to an appointed successor,” The New York Times editorial board wrote about Feinstein.
“I mean, all due respect, sir. You and your fellow Democrats were very ginger and very polite when it came to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and not pushing her to retire when you had a Democratic majority in the Senate. How’d that work out for you? How’d that work out for Roe v. Wade?” Jake Tapper asked Illinois Democrat Senator Dick Durbin about how Feinstein’s health issues were hurting the Democrat Party and Joe Biden’s agenda.
Feinstein stepping down would allow California Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom to appoint a replacement who Democrats could count on to show up for work every day and rubberstamp Joe Biden’s agenda.
The media is happy to expose the truth about Feinstein’s health because it helps advance the Democrat Party agenda.
But telling the truth about Fetterman would have hurt Democrats and potentially cost them a Senate seat.
