Big corporations did not learn their lesson from the Bud Light boycott.
The woke mob forced one TV station to bend the knee and censor a popular new song.
And this country music star’s video just got banned for one tragic reason.
Jason Aldean’s seen albums go quadruple platinum and 27 of 38 songs reach number one on the charts.
But when Aldean released his new anti-crime, pro-police anthem, “Try That in a Small Town,” the woke left lost their collective minds.
The song features imagery of left-wing protesters disrespecting the police and the crime wave sweeping Democrat-run cities thanks to George Soros-backed prosecutors turning a blind eye to law and order.
Liberals cannot stand being the butt of a joke in pop culture so the outrage brigade kicked into high gear smearing Aldean as pro-lynching and falsely claiming the song was a middle finger to the Black Lives Matter movement.
The cowardly management at Country Music Television (CMT) panicked in the face of an astroturf social media campaign and pulled the video for “Try That in a Small Town” and censored the song.
NEW: Country Music Television has pulled Jason Aldean’s music video ‘Try That In A Small Town’ in response to media outrage.
In the music video, Aldean calls out left-wing violence, specifically violence against law enforcement.

Aldean responded on social media debunking the left’s lies about his new song.
“In the past 24 hours I have been accused of releasing a pro-lynching song (a song that has been out since May) and was subject to the comparison that I (direct quote) was not too pleased with the nationwide BLM protests. These references are not only meritless, but dangerous,” Aldean wrote.
“There is not a single lyric in the song that references race or points to it- and there isn’t a single video clip that isn’t real news footage -and while I can try and respect others to have their own interpretation of a song with music- this one goes too far. As so many pointed out, I was present at Route 91-where so many lost their lives- and our community recently suffered another heartbreaking tragedy. NO ONE, including me, wants to continue to see senseless headlines or families ripped apart,” Aldean continued.
Aldean explained “Try That in a Small Town” is about the sense of community he felt growing up where neighbors didn’t care about your politics and instead looked out for one another, a sentiment that Aldean claims is vanishing from today’s America.
“‘Try That In A Small Town,’ for me, refers to the feeling of a community that I had growing up, where we took care of our neighbors, regardless of differences of background or belief. Because they were our neighbors, and that was above any differences. My political views have never been something I’ve hidden from, and I know that a lot of us in this country don’t agree on how we get back to a sense of normalcy where we go at least a day without a headline that keeps us up at night. But the desire for it to — that’s what this song is about,” Aldean declared.
CMT now risks becoming the next Bud Light.
Bud Light was the number one beer in America until it decided to market transgenderism to young people through a promotional deal with transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
A boycott sprouted up that saw Bud Light sales plunge 25 percent, at least one bottling factory shuttered due to a lack of demand, and Costco pulling the beer due to low sales.
CMT caters to the same middle America audience as Bud Light, and like Bud Light decided to poke their finger in the eyes of their consumer base and declared their hostility towards their values.
