CNN is failing fast.
The network’s blatant left-wing bias has resulted in it losing viewers at breakneck speed.
And now, CNN just got hit with one awful piece of news that could shut the network down for good.
CNN has earned a reputation for being one of the most biased news networks in America.
And that massive liberal bias has been matched by an equally large flood of viewers cutting the cord and turning off the station in droves.
What’s more, CNN’s audience has shrunk dramatically ever since Joe Biden came into office, as the network was able to rely on Donald Trump to drive ratings and retain their audience.
Without him, CNN has been a shadow of its former self, and now the executives at WarnerBros Discovery, which owns CNN, have been cleaning house in a bid to try and save the station from complete collapse.
One of the reforms that is only just beginning to be implemented is a move away from radical left-wing “journalists” spewing propaganda while pretending to be objective reporters. Yet while this departure from CNN’s past could one day move the network towards a more balanced point of view, it may already be too late to salvage CNN.
Over the last three years, California lost 11 Fortune 1000 companies, whose exits are expected to negatively affect the state’s economy.
Fox News reports, “CNN replaced its long-struggling morning show ‘New Day’ with a heavily promoted program centered around left-wing host Don Lemon, but viewership issues remained the same.
“The launch of ‘CNN This Morning’ attracted only 387,000 total viewers on Tuesday, when the ensemble morning program featuring Lemon, Poppy Harlow and Kaitlan Collins officially replaced ‘New Day.’ By comparison, MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’ managed 793,000 viewers and ‘FOX & Friends’ averaged 1.5 million on the same morning.”
What’s clear is that the new executives that run CNN are trying to right the ship.
But the problem is so well-entrenched in the network that their efforts may be too little, too late.
Not only has CNN been working to try and fire left-wing hacks like Brian Stelter, it has also been reshuffling other left-wing hacks like Don Lemon around to new slots.
But nothing seems to be working.
CNN continues to lose viewers almost every single day, while other competitors are blowing the network out of the water.
The fact is, CNN has earned a reputation for being such a staunch liberal network that it will take a tremendous amount of effort to rid itself of that reputation.
And as long as liberal activists like Lemon are still on set, many viewers simply won’t believe that CNN has changed at all.
