Donald Trump remade the Supreme Court with three nominations.
Now Democrats are learning just how big of a problem they have on their hands.
And that’s because Clarence Thomas dropped the hammer on Democrats with one bombshell ruling.
For the second time, the Supreme Court struck down a Democrat governor’s attempts to punish his political opponents by using the coronavirus as an excuse to shutdown churches.
This time the Supreme Court struck down Colorado’s Democrat Governor Jared Polis’ capacity limits for religious services.
The court’s six Republican-appointed justices—even liberal RINO John Roberts—cited a previous case rejecting New York Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo’s limits on attendance at religious services.
“The application for injunctive relief, presented to JUSTICE GORSUCH and by him referred to the Court, is treated as a petition for a writ of certiorari before judgment, and the petition is granted. The August 10 order of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado is vacated, and the case is remanded to the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit with instructions to remand to the District Court for further consideration in light of Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn v. Cuomo,” the majority wrote.
The court’s three left-wing justices dissented arguing the case was moot since Governor Polis rescinded the capacity limits.
“I respectfully dissent because this case is moot. High Plains Harvest Church has sought to enjoin Colorado’s capacity limits on worship services. But Colorado has lifted all those limits. The State has explained that it took that action in response to this Court’s recent decision in Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn v. Cuomo, 592 U. S. ___ (2020). See Brief in Opposition 15. Absent our issuing different guidance, there is no reason to think Colorado will reverse course—and so no reason to think Harvest Church will again face capacity limits. When ‘subsequent events’ thus show that a challenged action cannot ‘reasonably be expected to recur,’ a case is well and truly over,” Justices Sotomayor, Kagan and Breyer wrote.
Democrats like Governors Cuomo and Polis—backed up by anti-American activist judges—want to make attending church services illegal because voters that regularly attend church tend to vote Republican.
Because church attendees oppose the Democrat Party they must be punished.
Democrat governors celebrated thugs that rioted in the streets and burned down businesses.
Governors like Andrew Cuomo dismissed the idea that social distancing mandates applied to Black Lives Matter riots.
After months of inaction due to Chief Justice Johns Roberts continually siding with the left to criminalize church attendance, the Supreme Court finally is standing up to these tyrants and striking down capacity limits on religious services.
