Democrats launched an all-out attack to cancel Tucker Carlson.
This may be the worst trick yet.
And Chuck Schumer just threatened the one person that could yank Tucker Carlson off the air.
Democrats seized on a lunatic allegedly shooting and killing ten innocents in Buffalo to revive their attempts to censor conservatives ahead of the midterm election.
This time liberals seized on a pile of lies to demand Fox News fire Tucker Carlson.
Chuck Schumer dispatched a letter to top executives at Fox News – including Chairman Rupert Murdoch and CEO Suzanne Scott – falsely claiming that Tucker Carlson promoted the “Great Replacement” conspiracy theory which the killer mentioned in his deranged 181-page manifesto.
“I write to urge you to immediately cease the reckless amplification of the so -called ‘Great Replacement’ theory on your network’s broadcasts. Proponents of this white nationalist, far right conspiracy theory believe that a complicit or cooperative class of elites are advancing a plot designed to undermine the political power and culture of white Americans,” Schumer wrote.
This theory baselessly claims there is a secret Jewish elite controlling the flow of third world immigrants into the United States to replace the white population.
What Carlson actually said was the same thing Democrats and their media allies claimed for years – that granting amnesty to millions of illegal aliens would create a massive pool of new voters that would cement Democrats’ electoral dominance for generations.
This is how the left-wing website POLITICO described the Gang of Eight amnesty bill in 2013:
The immigration proposal pending in Congress would transform the nation’s political landscape for a generation or more — pumping as many as 11 million new Hispanic voters into the electorate a decade from now in ways that, if current trends hold, would produce an electoral bonanza for Democrats and cripple Republican prospects in many states they now win easily.
“For years, these types of beliefs have existed at the fringes of American life. However, this pernicious theory, which has no basis in fact, has been injected into the mainstream thanks in large part to a dangerous level of amplification by your network and its anchors,” Schumer added.
Schumer then called on Murdoch and Scott to silence or fire Carlson.
“I implore you to immediately cease all dissemination of false white nationalist, far-right conspiracy theories on your network,” Schumer concluded.
Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton slammed Schumer’s letter in a series of social media posts.
Senator Cotton explained that Schumer wanted to censor conservative media to hide the truth from the American people about the litany of failures racking up on Joe Biden’s watch.
“Chuck Schumer’s motivations are political—he wants to distract Americans from everything the Democrats have mismanaged: from inflation to baby formula to Title 42 to the crime wave. The list goes on,” Cotton wrote.
Cotton concluded by writing that “he wants to attack Fox News because they give a voice to the half of Americans who are conservative. Even by Chuck Schumer’s low standards, this is shameless.”
Democrats and the press normally seize on mass shootings to emotionally blackmail Republicans into supporting gun control.
But in recent years the Democrats shifted gears.
The left now loves to wait for tragedies such as mass shootings to now claim they need to more closely regulate and censor so-called “hate speech” on the internet.
Of course, Democrats and the media define hate speech as any point of view that contradicts or undercuts the Democrat Party’s narrative.
