Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is completely paranoid that Elon Musk is targeting her directly.
She has an insane idea of how he’s after her.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tried to hurt Elon Musk with this insane conspiracy theory.
Since Elon Musk has taken over as Twitter CEO, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has been complaining.
She started by throwing a fit because Musk said that he will charge users $8 per month for a variety of features, including the blue check mark.
“Lmao at a billionaire earnestly trying to sell people on the idea that ‘free speech’ is actually a $8/mo subscription plan,” AOC tweeted at the start of the week.
Musk responded, “Your feedback is appreciated, now pay $8,” and shared a screenshot of a hoodie that Ocasio-Cortez sells for $58 online.
Ocasio-Cortez justified the price by all the benefits her union workers get to run her campaign store.
“Proud of this and always will be,” the Democratic lawmaker responded. “My workers are union, make a living wage, have full healthcare, and aren’t subject to racist treatment in their workplaces. Items are made in USA.”
Then she claimed that because elements of Twitter weren’t working perfectly correct for her at that moment it must have to do with her argument with Musk.
“Also my Twitter mentions/notifications conveniently aren’t working tonight, so I was informed via text that I seem to have gotten under a certain billionaire’s skin,” she claimed. “Just a reminder that money will never buy your way out of insecurity, folks.
“One guy’s business plan for a $44 billion over-leveraged purchase is apparently to run around and individually ask people for $8,” she continued. “Remember that next time you question yourself or your qualifications.”
This isn’t the first time Musk has clashed with Ocasio-Cortez over his purchase of Twitter.
“Tired of having to collectively stress about what explosion of hate crimes is happening bc some billionaire with an ego problem unilaterally controls a massive communication platform and skews it because Tucker Carlson or Peter Thiel took him to dinner and made him feel special,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted back in April after Musk announced he would buy the platform.
Musk responded, “Stop hitting on me, I’m really shy.”
Musk’s response was referring back to when AOC claimed that conservatives criticized her because they’re attracted to her after the National Review caught her avoiding the Covid rules she claimed were important.
The National Review reported that Ocasio-Cortez was “seated outside Doraku Sushi and Izakaya in Miami Beach Thursday afternoon, raising a cocktail in one hand and checking her phone in another.”
“If Republicans are mad they can’t date me they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend’s feet,” Ocasio-Cortez responded to one of the critics calling her out. “Ya creepy weirdos.”
