CNN faced another public embarrassment.
After months of scandals and rumor shakeups CNN has another P.R. fiasco on their hands.
And that’s because a top CNN star faced a harsh truth that sent him into an epic on-camera meltdown.
CNN’s pro-Democrat Party cheerleader Brian Stelter is an absurd figure.
Stelter claims to be a media reporter but all Stelter seems to do is complain about Fox News and demand social media companies censor conservatives.
Stelter’s lack of self-awareness was on display as Stelter attended a supposed “disinformation” summit hosted by the left-wing Atlantic magazine.
The Atlantic magazine itself is a massive source of disinformation as editor Jeffrey Goldberg published a completely fake and made-up story during the 2020 election about Donald Trump calling dead Marines “suckers” and “losers.”
At the disinformation conference University of Chicago freshman Christopher Phillips challenged Stelter’s claim that Fox News was the main source of disinformation in the media.
“You’ve all spoken extensively about Fox News being a purveyor of disinformation. But CNN is right up there with them,” Phillips began.
Phillips then ticked off all the fake news stories CNN ran about Donald Trump and other conservatives.
“They pushed the Russian collusion hoax, they pushed the Jussie Smollett hoax. They smeared Justice Kavanaugh as a rapist and they also smeared Nick Sandmann as a white supremacist,” Phillips stated. “And yes, they dismissed the Hunter Biden laptop affair as pure Russian disinformation with mainstream corporate journalists becoming little more than apologists and cheerleaders for the regime.”
Phillips then asked Stelter if journalistic ethics still applied because all of the mistakes at CNN ran in one direction – against Republicans.
“Is it time to finally declare that the canon of journalistic ethics is dead or no longer operative?” Phillips asked before pointing out that every error CNN makes all go against Republicans. “All the mistakes of the mainstream media and CNN in particular, seem to magically all go in
one direction.”
Stelter knew Phillips had him dead to rights and Stelter could not come up with a good answer.
So instead he resorted to attempting to dodge the question by mocking it.
“I think you’re describing a different channel than the one that I watch,” Stelter answered.
“But I understand that that is a popular right-wing narrative about CNN,” Stelter concluded.

Polls show a declining trust in the mainstream media.
Brian Stelter refusing to own up to the fake news, conspiracy theories, and outright lies that CNN told is a big reason why so many Americans distrust and outright despise the mainstream media.
