While he was running for office, Joe Biden claimed to be a moderate.
Now by his own admission he’s turned into a tyrant.
A shocking video from Joe Biden’s past threw a huge wrench in his agenda.
On Inauguration Day, President Joe Biden went before the American people and said that he was going to try and unify the American people.
He then went back to the White House and signed a shocking number of executive orders.
In his first week in office, Biden signed 40 executive orders that cost tens of thousands of Americans their jobs, destroyed women’s sports and stopped enforcing our nation’s border laws.
Never before in American history has a president done so much harm in the first week alone.
“Since his first day in office, @POTUS has signed dozens of executive actions without consulting Congress,” Sen. Roger Wicker (R-MS) said on Wednesday, adding that he remains “deeply concerned about the impact these decisions will have on our country.”
This is significantly different than the historic precedent.
In the past Clinton signed 1, Bush: 0, Obama: 5, and Trump: 4.
According to Biden’s own standards he’s ruling as a dictator.
Back in October, Biden said “I have this strange notion, we are a democracy … if you can’t get the votes … you can’t [legislate] by executive order unless you’re a dictator. We’re a democracy. We need consensus.”
Yet even though Democrats have a majority in both the Senate and the House, Biden is choosing to rule with executive authority.
White House chief of staff Ron Klain was on the defensive trying to defend Biden’s use of executive orders.
“We are not taking executive action in lieu of legislation,” Klain explained as critics noted the sheer volume of the orders Biden has signed in his first week in office, besting all of his predecessors.
“We are taking executive action to fix what Trump broke in the executive branch, and to keep the President’s commitments to use his power — within appropriate limits — to make progress on four crises,” he added.
In other words, Democrats are trying to undo all of Donald Trump’s accomplishments as fast as they possibly can, no matter what the cost to America is.
There’s no unity in the agenda that Joe Biden is pushing and he’s not the moderate that he claimed to be while running for office.
Even The New York Times is questioning Biden’s reliance on executive orders.
Six Republican attorneys general sent Biden a letter warning him about his use of power, saying his administration “may be following the unfortunate path of executive unilateralism” and mentioning that they are watching his orders for any unconstitutional actions because “overreaching and defying Congress will not be rewarded or succeed.”
