President Trump and many of his supporters wondered what was going on at Fox News.
Since the election, some hosts looked to make a break from the President.
And a Fox News guest had a surprising reaction to this Republican’s push to remove Trump from office.
Illinois liberal Republican Adam Kinzinger was the first Republican to come out in favor of removing President Trump from office using the 25thAmendment.
Kinzinger alleged President Trump incited the riot at the Capitol and that he no longer possessed the state of mind to finish out his term as President.
“It’s with a heavy heart I am calling for the sake of our Democracy that the 25th Amendment be invoked,” Kinzinger’s video message began.
Of course if someone actually had a heavy heart they wouldn’t need to tell you.
When someone says they are doing something with a heavy heart, the opposite is true; they are really taking an action they have been dying to for quite some time.
Kinzinger cited the riot and President Trump’s alleged role in the chaos as to why he must leave office immediately.
“Here’s the truth. The president caused this. The president is unfit and the president is unwell. And the president now must relinquish control of the executive branch voluntarily or involuntarily,” Kinzinger continued.
Kinzinger has always been what Trump supporters consider a RINO.
The Illinois Congressman hails from the Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan wing of the GOP that favors endless wars, globalist trade deals and amnesty for illegal aliens.
Fox News commentator David Webb noticed Kinzinger’s video and ripped him for betraying the President.
Webb also noted that he would pay attention to Kinzinger’s voting record in this coming Congress and would support a pro-Trump primary challenger.
“Well @RepKinzinger your midterm election should be interesting. You called for the 25th Amendment to be used against @realDonaldTrump. I’ll be reviewing closely your past voting record as a @GOP congressman and tracking from now till you launch your campaign,” Webb wrote on Twitter.
Webb’s tweet showed that not everyone at Fox had gone off the deep end now that Donald Trump was on his way out of power.
Kinzinger is a liberal Republican that never had any use for President Trump.
He is more at home on CNN playing the role of “reasonable” Republican that hates conservatives and disagrees with everything Trump and his supporters want to accomplish.
But Kinzinger may not run for re-election in the House in 2022.
Many Republicans believe he is trashing President Trump—after voting for him in 2020—to build his appeal to Democrat-leaning voters ahead of a run for the Governor of Illinois next year.
