Law enforcement arrested a 31-year-old California man who donated to Kamala Harris’ 2024 Presidential campaign for attempting to storm the White House Correspondents Association Dinner while armed with multiple weapons.
Prosecutors later charged the man with attempting to assassinate President Trump.
This was the third attempt on Trump’s life in the last 20 months.
All three attempted assassins were Trump-hating leftists who became unhinged over the left’s conspiracy theories about Trump.
In a post on social media after the incident, Barack Obama tried to erase the left’s connections to the repeated attempts to kill Trump in public by falsely claiming the attackers’ motives weren’t known.
“Although we don’t yet have the details about the motives behind last night’s shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner, it’s incumbent upon all of us to reject the idea that violence has any place in our democracy. It’s also a sobering reminder of the courage and sacrifice that U.S. Secret Service Agents show every day. I’m grateful to them – and thankful that the agent who was shot is going to be okay,” Obama posted on X.
In fact, authorities had discovered a manifesto the alleged assassin wrote where he explained he wanted to kill Trump because he bought into the lies Democrats told about Trump and Jeffrey Epstein.
“I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes,” the alleged assassin wrote.
Conservatives slammed Obama for trying to gaslight Americans into thinking this assassination attempt wasn’t politically motivated.
“It was politically motivated.” Utah Senator Mike Lee posted on X. “He made that pretty clear.”
Former Bush administration press secretary Ari Fleischer posted on social media that this post once again showed that Obama was a corrosive figure in American politics.
“This is another example showing how Barack Obama is one of the most divisive figures in American politics today. So many of our divisions were caused by the smug, demeaning, and narrow-minded way he treats his opponents,” Fleischer wrote.
The existence of the gunman’s manifesto was public knowledge for hours before Obama’s post.
But Obama thought it was more important to protect the left from the political fallout from its over-the-top Trump hatred, inciting violence rather than telling the truth.

“Here, he pretends not to know the truth about the would-be assassin, although the facts of his left-wing views were public hours before Obama’s tweet. It’s classic Obama – pretend to be conciliatory while he is the one who creates the divide,” Fleischer concluded.
