Tucker Carlson set off a shockwave when he endorsed Donald Trump for president.
But Carlson isn’t happy with what he’s now hearing.
And Tucker Carlson said he will oppose Donald Trump if Trump makes this choice.
The Ron DeSantis campaign seized on Lara Trump telling a Newsmax host “never say never” about Donald Trump picking RINO former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley as his running mate to spread rumors across social media that Trump picking Haley was a done deal.
DeSantis and his surrogates hoped that the idea of Trump selecting the establishment’s hand-picked candidate as his running mate would drive a wedge between Trump and his base.
Trump addressed the gossip saying it was “unlikely” he would want Haley as his running mate.
Tucker Carlson took the strongest stand yet against the idea of Haley on the ticket.
The former Fox News host told podcaster Tim Pool at TPUSA’s AmericaFest event that Trump picking Haley would cause him to not just vote against the ticket, but that Carlson would actively campaign for its defeat.
“I would not only not vote for that ticket, I would advocate against it as strongly as I could,” Carlson declared.
Carlson explained that Haley opposed every issue Trump and his voters stood for and that Haley is the tool of the GOP elites who despise Trump supporters and want to see them expelled from the Republican Party.
“That’s just poison. I mean, here’s someone who’s actively opposed to the interests of the country I grew up in, who endorsed the BLM riots, and who is not left, but is neoliberal in the darkest, most – speaking of nihilist – nihilistic way, and has no real popular support, is a creature of the oligarchs. So yeah, that would be– that would be reason to oppose the ticket,” said Carlson.

Nikki Haley’s signature issue in this campaign is support for the war in Ukraine.
Haley also told supporters at an event that businesses should be allowed to set unlimited immigration levels into the United States.
No two issues – open borders and the establishment’s desire to leap into endless wars across the globe – better crystalize why GOP voters latched on to Donald Trump in the 2016 campaign.
Win or lose in 2024, the GOP will have an open presidential primary in 2028.
And whoever Trump taps as his running mate next year enters the race as the odds-on favorite.
Haley on the ticket would be passing the mantle of the MAGA movement to the queen of the D.C. swamp and GOP establishment.
