The Clinton family believes they are invincible. The 90’s proved the husband-and-wife duo was as slick as teflon.
And as the 2000’s went on, it seemed they might get away with their masterful manipulation.
Fast forward to Sept 11, 2012 when Benghazi unfolded in dramatic fashion.
Soon Hillary was under fire and her role in the Benghazi attack was called into question.
An investigation was launched and now we find ourselves here, at a moment where Hillary Clinton is clearly culpable for the deaths of three Americans.
What’s most interesting is what Trey Gowdy was able to discover while investigating the former First Lady’s role in the attacks.
It appears she participated in the possibly criminal act of doing all of her business as U.S. Secretary of State on a personal email account.
This potentially illegal act shows just what kind of subterfuge the potential Democratic Presidential nominee is capable of. It’s believed she conducted top-secret business on a personal email account, and if so, the Secretary of State opened up the United States to potential attack which is basically treason.
This is no small thing and Gowdy knows this.
Adam Clark Estes who writes for the popular online tech magazine Gizmodo said “I talked to security experts at Kaspersky Lab about how Clinton made herself vulnerable to hackers by exclusively using a homebrew email system, and their answer was basically, how didn’t she make herself vulnerable…The main problem is that Clinton [failed to secure] her private email server — and endangered national security as a result.”
Not only that, but running government business on a private email account means Clinton could easily conceal her digital tracks. The reason government email systems are utilized is so there is full accountability. Hence the whole hullabaloo about Lois Lerner’s missing emails.
Back to Clinton.
What we know is Hillary purposefully used a personal email account. It’s even been discovered she set up multiple accounts on different servers, possibly to throw people off her tracks.
She claims transparency in her dealings with foreign ambassadors and has even offered to release her emails to the public.
But the question then is how do we know those are all the emails she’s written?
We have no way of tracking the emails she sent, so what’s to say she isn’t just picking and choosing innocuous emails while hiding the real dirt?
Gowdy has issued a subpoena for those emails and you can only hope the American people are given the full story with those emails.
WND reports that Clinton could be in pretty hot water, even if she voluntarily releases her emails.
As they write:
Fox News senior judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano said there are two potential legal pitfalls for Clinton.
He said federal law makes it a crime to conceal or destroy government records, and the offense is a felony with the possible penalty of being banned forever from holding public office.
‘She’s in a lot of trouble legally,’ he said.
He pointed out that if she has classified information, or discussions about classified information, in her home network rather than a secured government computer, she has violated the law.
It was inconceivable, Napolitano said, that she worked as secretary of state and did not have such material.
‘I don’t know how she could do her job,’ he said.
Truth is the only job the Clinton’s have ever executed perfectly is keeping their backsides protected.
It’s just another in a long line of scandals the Clinton’s would need to overcome.
But given the timing, this scandal might also be one of the most damaging.
What do you think? Will it stick?
