The FBI raid of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate scrambled American politics.
This FBI siege led to Americans asking once unthinkable questions.
And Trey Gowdy heard a prediction about Donald Trump’s future that you won’t believe.
South Carolina’s pro-gun control, pro-open borders RINO Senator Lindsey Graham appeared on Trey Gowdy’s Fox News show and delivered a startling prediction.
Graham warned that the FBI’s political targeting of Donald Trump crossed the Rubicon and stood in stark contrast to how the Bureau helped rig the 2020 election by pressuring Facebook to censor reporting about the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop.
“There is a double standard when it comes to Trump,” Graham added that the FBI “weighed in to make sure the story didn’t break before the 2020 election.”
Graham told Gowdy that FBI whistleblowers came forward with revelations that they were “told to slow down and back off Hunter Biden.”
And in a stunning comment, Graham said that if the Biden administration indicted Donald Trump on the same charges that the Obama administration let Hillary Clinton skate on it would lead to civil unrest.
“And I’ll say this if there is a prosecution of Donald Trump for mishandling classified information after the Clinton debacle,” Graham warned that “there will be riots in the street.”
“You know, I’m a simple-minded guy, senator, I think people should be treated the same without regard to political ideology,” Gowdy responded.
But liberals think violence in the streets is an acceptable risk if it means putting Trump in jail.
The New York Times published an editorial admitting that the Biden administration prosecuting Donald Trump would cross a major line in American politics and violate constitutional norms.
“This board is aware that in deciding how Mr. Trump should be held accountable under the law it is necessary to consider not just whether criminal prosecution would be warranted but whether it would be wise. No American president has ever been criminally prosecuted after leaving office. When President Gerald Ford pardoned Richard Nixon, he ensured that Nixon would not be prosecuted for crimes committed during the Watergate scandal; Ford explained this decision with the warning that such a prosecution posed grave risks of rousing ‘ugly passions’ and worsening political polarization,” the Times editorial read.
But the Times editorial board admitted that arresting Trump could provoke a civil war.
And in a chilling passage, the Times wrote that Americans fighting one another in the streets was an acceptable consequence of jailing Trump.
“That warning is just as salient today. Pursuing prosecution of Mr. Trump could further entrench support for him and play into the conspiracy theories he has sought to stoke. It could inflame the bitter partisan divide, even to the point of civil unrest. A trial, if it is viewed as illegitimate, could also further undermine confidence in the rule of law, whatever the eventual outcome,” the Times continued.
Any sane person understands that violence is not the answer to political problems and that no one should want to see civil unrest.
But Senator Graham warned that Democrats hate Donald Trump so much the Biden administration is willing provoke a crisis to appease the left’s desire to see Trump in jail.
