Adam Schiff finally released 53 witness transcripts from the House Intelligence Committee’s Russian investigation that showed every individual that testified – including prominent Obama administration officials – all said there was no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
The Justice Department also filed a motion to drop all criminal charges against former National Security Advisor Lt. General Michael Flynn.
That same night, Trey Gowdy appeared on Fox News where host Martha MacCallum asked Gowdy what his message to Schiff would be since Schiff was the ring leader in Congress for the Russian collusion hoax who ended up with the most egg on his face.
“I would tell Adam to watch your show and listen in particular to the Jim Comey interview [in December 2018] where the head of the world’s premier law enforcement agency is bragging about what he wanted to get away with,” Gowdy began.
Gowdy then asked Schiff to take an honest accounting of the misconduct and corruption within the FBI – led by Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Andrew McCabe and James Comey – and ask himself if that is really how he wants the most powerful law enforcement agency in the world to conduct its business.
“I would tell him to go look at Peter Strzok and all of those texts. If that’s the FBI that Adam Schiff wants for this country, an FBI head who wants to see what he can get away with, [who] sent an agent to interview Michael Flynn … because he wanted to,” the former South Carolina Congressman continued, “It’s just an arrogant head of the FBI full of hubris who wanted to send agents over to mess with Michael Flynn.”
“Look at his FBI — [Andrew] McCabe, Strzok, Comey, [James] Baker, [Lisa] Page — which of those is our country suffering from not having in positions of power? We need just a system that everyone has confidence in whether it’s a three-star general or a black jogger in Georgia,” Gowdy added.
Finally, Gowdy lamented the time he spent in closed-door hearings with Schiff and fellow Russian collusion truther and failed presidential candidate Eric Swalwell as one of the worst experiences of his life.
“I can tell you I was in that room for a year with [Rep. Eric] Swalwell [D-Calif.] and Schiff, and it was the longest damn year of my life,” Gowdy concluded. “Every witness would say the exact same thing.”
Everyone thought failing miserably in his quest to remove President Trump from office through an impeachment trial was the biggest humiliation of Adam Schiff’s life.
But that was nothing compared to the reckoning Schiff faced after his Russian collusion claims were revealed to the world as the greatest political hoax ever perpetrated on the American people.
