It’s becoming clearer every day that the Robert Mueller investigation is partisan lynch mob out to get President Trump.
The FBI is at the heart of this corrupt enterprise.
And Trey Gowdy just dropped a bombshell that will change everything you think.
FBI agent Peter Strzok is at the heart of the controversies surrounding the investigation into collusion with Russia and the FBI’s probe into Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
He was removed from the Mueller team after anti-Trump text messages he had written surfaced.
When that story broke, conservatives dug into his background and discovered he played a key role in the Clinton email investigation.
He was the agent who changed the wording in former Director James Comey’s memo clearing Hillary from “gross negligence” to “extremely careless.”
Trey Gowdy explained on Fox News that this was a big deal because “gross negligence” is the wording that appears in the statute.
That language was stricken because the FBI didn’t want to charge Clinton.
Gowdy also pointed out that Strzok interviewed key witnesses such as Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin in the Clinton probe even though he had demonstrated a strong anti-Trump bias.
The Daily Caller reports:
“Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy, a member of the House Judiciary Committee, questioned why an anti-Trump FBI agent had supervision over the Clinton email investigation.
During a Thursday interview with Fox News, Gowdy pointed out the various problematic things that Agent Peter Strzok had done while overseeing the Clinton and Trump-Russia investigations.
Gowdy blasted Strozk’s decision to change the wording of Clinton’s behavior with her private email server from “grossly negligent” to “extremely careless.”
“It’s really difficult to say, ‘we’re not gonna prosecute you’ when we use the precise words, so he changed it to extremely careless,” he explained. “There is no difference–the only difference is they didn’t want to use the wording in the statute.”
Then Gowdy trashed the idea that Strzok would be responsible for interviewing key witnesses in the Clinton probe.
“If he had pro-Clinton or anti-Trump bias, what the hell was he doing interviewing Hillary Clinton?”
That was just the tip of the ice berg.
Strzok was also involved in getting the ball rolling on the Russia collusion investigation.
And there are reports that he used the fake news Fusion GPS dossier as grounds for doing so.
The New York Post reports:
“More, he was reportedly one of the major FBI figures urging investigations on the basis of the “Steele dossier” of Russian-sourced scurrilous anti-Trump allegations, which we now know was commissioned by the Clinton campaign.
More, he signed the documents that opened the ensuing “collusion” probe. And he led the FBI interview of Gen. Mike Flynn, in which Flynn told the lies that eventually forced him out as Trump’s national security adviser, and for which he’s now pleaded guilty in a deal with Mueller.”
The Mueller investigation stinks like yesterday’s garbage.
It’s nothing more than a partisan hit job.
