Joe Biden doesn’t need any more political problems.
But one of his closest allies just created a massive new headache.
And this video of Nancy Pelosi is about to make Joe Biden’s life a living hell.
The government’s own economic data showed the economy contracted by 0.9 percent in the second quarter following Gross Domestic Product (GDP) shrinking by 1.6 percent in the first quarter.
For decades the accepted definition of a recession was two straight quarters of negative GDP.
But once the Biden administration figured out the second quarter GDP numbers would show an economy falling into a recession Democrats began browbeating their loyal servants in the media to change the definition of a recession.
The only problem for Democrats is that while politicians and reporters can lie, the videotape does not.
Back in 2008, when Republican George W. Bush was president Nancy Pelosi told reporters that the “technical definition” of a recession was two straight quarters of economic contraction.
“And so while they may have saved the second quarter from a technical definition of recession, the fact is, we are now into the third quarter and we need to have another stimulus package,” Pelosi said at the time.
The RNC Research Twitter account flagged the video.

Pelosi was not the only Democrat that deployed the commonly accepted definition of a recession when a Republican sat in the Oval Office only to switch gears to defend Biden.
Biden’s own economic advisor Brian Deese said in 2008 that two consecutive quarters of GDP contraction meant the economy slipped into a recession.
Brian Deese, yesterday: "Two negative quarters of GDP growth is not the technical definition of recession.”

Democrats are feverishly working on an Orwellian scheme to redefine recession because they know the political damage a shrinking economy inflicts.
A recession would drastically reduce the Democrats’ chances of holding on to the Senate.
And depending on how long the recession lasts, Donald Trump would almost certainly win the White House in 2024.
But the polls show the Democrats’ attempt to gaslight the public into thinking the economy is actually booming is failing.
An IBD/TIPP poll showed 58 percent of Americans thought the economy was in a recession.
This represented an increase from 53 percent in June and 48 percent in May.
Joe Biden’s lies and spin cannot counteract the fact that the American people see prices at the grocery store go up on a weekly basis and understand they are in a recession.
