Right now millions of Americans are reeling from the shock of having to pay more in taxes than at any point in American history.
Effective tax rates on private citizens and business are at an all time high. And while millions of Americans want their taxes to decrease, Democrats are scheming ways to increase tax rates so they climb even higher.
Perhaps the most disgusting and problematic thing about the increase in effective tax rates is how many people who shouldn’t receive benefits from tax dollars, do.
And what’s more disturbing is what the IRS just admitted about their tax collection process.
Despite clear evidence millions of tax returns are being completed with false information the IRS continues to process the returns anyways.
Most disturbing is how the IRS is even notified the returns are illegitimate and they simply wave them through anyways. All in an effort to grow and strengthen the government and not the American people.
As Forbes reports,
We have the top dog at the IRS, the IRS Commissioner himself, admitting that, well, there’s a problem with illegal immigrants and taxes.
He was talking about illegal immigrants, and about the IRS turning a blind eye. Or maybe worse. The IRS actually wants illegal immigrants to illegally use Social Security numbers, he suggested. IRS Commissioner John Koskinen made the surprising statement in response to a question from Sen. Dan Coats, R-Ind., at a Senate Finance Committee meeting. The question was a touchy one. Gee, is the IRS collaborating with taxpayers who file tax returns using fraudulent information? It wasn’t put exactly that way. According to Senator Coats:
“What we learned is that … the IRS continues to process tax returns with false W-2 information and issue refunds as if they were routine tax returns, and say that’s not really our job. We also learned the IRS ignores notifications from the Social Security Administration that a name does not match a Social Security number, and you use your own system to determine whether a number is valid.”
The IRS chief tried to distinguish between the various bad uses and misuses of someone else’s personal data. It is at least vaguely reminiscent of the flap a year ago that differentiated President Obama and Donald Trump over immigration and taxes. Mr. Trump said illegal immigrants get $4.2 billion in tax credits. A 2011 audit by the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration confirmed that individuals who are not authorized to work in the United States were paid $4.2 billion in refundable credits.
The abuse American taxpayers suffer at the hands of mismanagement and obviously corrupt policy makers is outrageous.
Worse yet is even withe a preponderance of evidence showing Americans are being fleeced by the IRS and Democrat lawmakers there is little that can be done at the present time to rectify the issue.
And of course if either Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton are to win in November you can rest assured this abuse would continue unabated and in greater amounts.
The only hope Americans have to see taxes reduced and made more fair is for an overhaul of the current tax system to take place. Currently the tax code is a volume of more than 72,000 pages that no one is able to truly understand.
What we can understand though is the Democrats and other corrupt lawmakers are using those 72,000 pages to confuse and confound Americans into paying more than they ever should.
Are you made the IRS doesn’t do more to stop these kinds of corrupt tax filings?
