The display left Americans stunned.
Doctor Anthony Fauci was finally forced to answer questions about his role in the COVID debacle.
And Sean Hannity heard one four-letter word that left him grinning from ear to ear.
Dr. Anthony Fauci pled the Fifth so as not to incriminate himself 111 times in a Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions hearing as Republicans grilled him on his role in imposing COVID lockdowns, mask mandates, vaccine requirements, funding gain-of-function research at the Chinese lab the virus likely originated from, and censoring supporters of the COVID lab leak theory.
In an interview on his Fox News show, Sean Hannity praised Ohio Republican Senator Bernie Moreno for dropping an f bomb at Fauci in an outburst of frustration.
“I think your comments were warranted, Senator,” Hannity said to Moreno. “God bless you for saying them.”
“Who the **** do you think you were doing that?” Moreno exclaimed as Fauci pled the Fifth.
Moreno and tens of millions of Americans were outraged that Fauci refused to answer questions despite Joe Biden pre-emptively pardoning him,
Fauci clamming up and taking the Fifth only served to confirm in the minds of many Americans that Fauci knew his actions during COVID and past testimony under oath left him vulnerable to prosecution.
Moreno thanked Hannity and explained that Fauci destroyed lives by closing down small businesses, keeping children locked out of schools and costing Americans their jobs by mandating a dangerous vaccine they didn’t want to take.
“Well, look, that was me trying to be nice, Sean. The reality is this guy damaged a lot of things in this country. He set us back decades. He crushed small businesses, destroyed them, and sometimes killed seniors who died alone. He closed nursing homes, closed hospitals, had people fired, shot. If you didn’t take the vaccine because you didn’t want to, you said, “Hey, look, I don’t want to put something in my body that I don’t believe in.” They were fired. They were terminated from the military,” Moreno stated.
Moreno added that his outburst followed Committee Chairman Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) ejecting Fauci’s high-priced lawyer from the hearing after the lawyer, David Schertler, tried to interrupt the proceeding.
“He’s a high-profile criminal attorney,” Moreno went on to say. “He’s represented some really great people like Senator Bob Menendez. Maybe that’s somebody who my Democrat colleagues might remember took gold bars as bribes from the Egyptians, and there is an article here in the Washington Free Beacon that talks about why you would hire a guy like him.”
Moreno added that Schertler is the kind of lawyer you hire when you know you are in big trouble.
“The comment is, if you are in deep sh*t, that’s who you call. Do you feel like you are in deep ****?” Moreno continued.
Fauci can’t plead the Fifth since he has nothing to incriminate himself on since Biden pardoned him.
Following the hearing, Paul announced he planned to hold a committee vote to refer Fauci to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution on contempt of Congress charges.
