The federal government shutdown is nearing the one-month mark.
And as Nancy Pelosi continues to stonewall President Trump on securing the border, her enemies continue to add up.
It came as no surprise then for all hell to break loose when these protestors stormed Pelosi’s office.
Nancy Pelosi got a rude awakening this week when protestors stormed her Washington D.C. office.
Breitbart reports, “Angel families, American victims of crimes committed by illegal aliens, marched on Capitol Hill and Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office Tuesday, along with legislators and Women for Trump.”
The protestors took Pelosi to task over refusing to negotiate with Trump to end the shutdown, and especially over her refusal to agree to any additional measures to secure the border or build a wall with Mexico.
These families include many Americans who have lost friends and family to murders committed by illegal immigrants.
“Reps. Mo Brooks, Louie Gohmert, Matt Gaetz were among the several legislators gathered with the Angel families and Women for Trump in front of the U.S. Capitol Building, as they put faces to the statistics of Americans killed or injured due to illegal aliens and the drugs that flow in the U.S. at the southern border,” adds Breitbart.
Pelosi ran for cover.
She refused to show her face to the protestors and made every effort to prevent them from speaking to her face-to-face to share their anguish and frustration with her obstruction of President Trump’s immigration proposals to curb the wave of violence and drugs which continue to pour across the border.
After the protestors stormed her office, they traveled down to the Capitol steps where a press conference was held.
Multiple families spoke to the press about their lost loved ones, while former Director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement Tom Homan also spoke on behalf of the group.
Their message was simple, secure the border and build the wall.
Pelosi refuses to do either, promising to stop any money from being allocated for Trump’s “immoral” wall.
She has also vowed to prevent the President from acting on a single piece of his campaign promises regarding immigration and border security.
All while Americans suffer from the impact illegal immigration continues to have on the country.
The protests against Pelosi’s open borders policies come at a time when Washington is gripped over the longest running shutdown in American history.
That shutdown began in the first place because of Democrats’ refusal to work with President Trump on building a wall and securing a border.
And now that Nancy Pelosi controls the House of Representatives, she is the primary obstacle in executing President Trump’s campaign promise to build a wall and secure the border.
“The partial federal government shutdown has become the longest in history as Democrats refuse to negotiate with President Donald Trump to provide funding for a southern border wall and border security that would allow for a bill to reopen the government,” concludes Breitbart.
Do you think Nancy Pelosi should work with President Trump to secure the border and build a wall?
