Former President Barack Obama just will not stop trying to steal back the political spotlight.
Instead of retiring quietly after his two terms as President, Obama continues to meddle in Trump’s affairs.
Worst yet, it was recently revealed that Obama keeps close ties to the Democratic National Committee to scheme against the GOP.
Now critics are asking if the Party establishment is once again colluding with the DNC.
The Daily Caller just reported that Obama keeps regular check-ins with the DNC chair.
The Daily Caller reported:
Obama, who left office January 20, has regular “check ins” with Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez, one aide told The Hill. He will campaign for Democratic candidates this fall and publicly decried the Republican plan to replace Obamacare.
The former President remains a nuisance in the political world still.
He frequently meets behind the scenes with lawmakers and voters to try and plot a comeback for the self-imploding political left.
Obama also plans on campaigning for Democratic candidates.
The Daily Caller continued:
The former president has a larger role behind the scenes of the Democratic Party. He’s met privately with various lawmakers who are trying to build party consensus after a devastating presidential election in 2016 and multiple defeats in special elections this spring.
“[Obama] doesn’t want the focus to be on him,” one source close to Obama said. “He doesn’t want to be out in front.”
During one conversation with Perez, Obama said “Hey man, it’s only the future of the world in your hands,” a DNC staffer told The Hill.
Obama’s staff confirmed that the president would return to the campaign trail this fall to stump for Ralph Northam, the Democratic candidate in Virginia’s gubernatorial race.
Traditionally, retired politicians come back to the political sphere after a break from their career.
Former President Bill Clinton remained a public figure with his questionable conduct at the Clinton Foundation while his wife’s political career flamed out.
On the other hand, former President George W. Bush retired peacefully to his ranch in Texas, where he avoids the political stage for the most part.
But Obama will not cease in his efforts to revive the Democratic Party, whose policies have continually devastated the American people by taking away their jobs, leaving their children at the mercy of violent immigrant children and terrorists, and initiating government-programs that were devised only to reap tax-payer money.
Americans are done with Obama, and will soon be done with the Democratic Party if they continue on their self-destructive path.
America needed to be made great again after Obama left middle-class America all but forgotten.
If Obama believes he has any chance of reviving his political career after the devastating two terms he led as President, he is delusional.
