Nancy Pelosi spent two years making sure the American people never saw this shock video.
But now that Republicans control the House of Representatives the cover-up is over.
All hell broke loose when the public saw this Nancy Pelosi hidden video.
The GOP majority allowed three additional news organizations to view the unseen 40,000 hours of security camera footage from the Capitol on January 6.
When Democrats controlled the House, the handpicked members of Pelosi’s January 6 committee carefully curated the footage to only release cherry-picked snippets that would back up the Democrats’ phony narrative that Trump supporters staged an insurrection that day.
The totality of the footage shows a different story.
There was violence on that day, but not every Trump supporter stormed the Capitol with mayhem on their mind.
And no one tried to overthrow the government as the event lasted a couple of hours and people left after milling about the Capitol.
Just the News obtained footage that debunked Pelosi’s claim that January traumatized her.
“What’s sad about it is, of course, as members of Congress we sign up for the exposure that we have, but to see in the eyes of so many of the staff people especially the younger ones the trauma, the fright that it was for them to be locked into rooms with terrorists banging on the doors, hiding under desks, under tables and the rest of that. They did not sign up for that. We did not sign them up for that,” Pelosi said at the time.
Instead, the footage showed Pelosi’s daughter and a camera crew filming a Hollywood-style exit for the documentary “Pelosi in the House” as the Capitol Hill Police ushered Pelosi into a waiting SUV to take her to safety.
Former Capitol Hill Police Chief Steven Sund told the “Just the News, Not Noise” TV show that the footage showed Pelosi actually endangering the officers because they have no authority to protect non-family members like the camera crew.
“When you look at the footage, what you need to realize is a protective detail is specifically for the protectee. You’re there, you’re protecting the protectee,” Sund stated. “Now, Capitol Police statutorily do have the authority to protect family members. And it’s my understanding the person holding the camera was Pelosi’s daughter. But she’s there in the position of being media.”
“The protective detail isn’t there to protect media. And whoever else was there with her for the sole purpose of videotaping creates a major distraction for the protective detail,” Sund added. “You know, they don’t train to protect those additional people.”
Sund explained that the SUVs used in Pelosi’s protective detail only have a limited number of seats so the camera crew entering the vehicle would have denied members police officer access to the carrier.
“There’s a limited number of seats in the armored vehicles that, you know, if you’re going to put one of those additional people into the armored personnel carrier, or the armored vehicle, you’re going to lose one of your security detail. And that’s not what’s meant to happen so it creates a distraction,” Sund added.
None of that mattered to Pelosi.
Critics contend that what really mattered was creating a dramatic scene recorded by cameras.
