Tucker Carlson hosted the first Republican candidate forum in Iowa.
It was a bad day for one GOP contender.
And Tucker Carlson got Mike Pence to say five words that will leave you speechless.
Former Vice President Mike Pence knows he will never get the support of the Donald Trump base.
In fact, many conservatives believe Pence is running for president on a platform centered around full-throated support for hundreds of billions in aid to Ukraine and attacking Donald Trump on January 6 to get back in the good graces of the D.C. establishment and rehab his image with the media.
That strategy blew up in his face as no candidate did more to damage their reputation with the conservative grassroots than Pence.
Conservatives are furious at Joe Biden and the RINOs in Congress for spending $140 billion to secure Ukraine’s border while leaving the American southern border wide open.
And the crowd at the Iowa Family Leadership Summit let Pence have it when Pence called for a blank check in the Ukraine war.

But one question Carlson should have asked Pence is which country is he running for president in – America or Ukraine?
That’s because Pence went off the rails when Carlson asked Pence about the distressed state of life in American cities and why sending more tanks to Ukraine is his number one priority.
“I know you’re running for president. You are distressed the Ukrainians don’t have enough American tanks. Every city in the United States has become much worse over the past three years. Drive around. There is not one city that has gotten better in the United States. And it’s visible,” Carlson stated.
“And yet your concern is that the Ukrainians, a country that most people can’t find on a map, who have received tens of billions of U.S. tax dollars, don’t have enough tanks. I think it’s fair to ask, where’s the concern for the United States in that?” Carlson asked.
Pence shot back with “it’s not my concern.”
“Well, it’s not my concern. Tucker I’ve heard that routine from you before, but it’s not my concern. I’m running for President of the United States because I think this country is in a lot of trouble,” Pence answered.
The clip went viral on social media and was telling.
The Iowa Family Leadership Summit should be a friendly venue for Pence.
That’s because the Family Leader is the number one evangelical Christian group in Iowa.
Donald Trump picked Mike Pence as his running mate in 2016 to assuage evangelical concerns about Trump.
Pence is campaigning as the most evangelical-friendly candidate in the race.
But after four years of Donald Trump conservatives want their leaders to follow in Trump’s footsteps and put America first.
And it was clear from Mike Pence’s answers that the crowd views him as a Ukraine-first globalist.
