Fox News host Laura Ingraham has been one of President Trump’s strongest supporters in conservative media.
But Ingraham is now sounding the alarm.

President Trump renewed the war in Iran after the memorandum of understanding to implement a ceasefire collapsed in the wake of continued Iranian attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz and on U.S. bases that led to the deaths of three more American soldiers.
Gas prices surged to over $4 a gallon, boosting Democrat hopes to sweep the midterms and win control of the House and Senate.
The war was initially projected to last 4-6 weeks, but now it is in its fifth month and threatens to drag into the midterm election campaign this fall.
On her Fox News show, Ingraham told viewers that Trump needed to end the war before the election if the GOP was to have any hope of keeping their majorities in Congress.
“With the midterm elections a little more than 100 days away, the clock is ticking for President Trump to get out of this war before voters head to the polls. It’s making a lot of Republicans nervous. It’s already, as we know, unpopular. According to the new Washington Post/Ipsos poll, 69% of Americans disapprove of the handling of this conflict. Republicans cannot let this become an endless distraction, especially if they want to win in November,” Ingraham stated.
Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume made a similar point about the clock ticking on Special Report.
“And he promised to keep us out of endless wars or unsatisfactory wars, and now he’s in one, and it’s not at all clear how it’s gonna end,” Hume declared. “So, he’s vulnerable on this point, and in political terms, he does need to get this over with. But what he may need his time, and he doesn’t have a lot of time.”
Trump understands this reality, and Axios reported the President is now facing two options on Iran.
One is to accept a 10-day ceasefire proposal that will allow shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, and the other is to join Israel in a massive, wider war against Iran to try and bring about its conclusion.
“But Washington is simultaneously preparing for the talks to fail. The U.S. military has sent dozens of fighter jets and refueling aircraft to the region in recent days, assembling the forces needed for a major escalation,” Axios reported, adding that “Israeli sources say the IDF is on high alert and preparing for a possible expansion of the war into a full-scale, coordinated campaign within days.”
The decision President Trump makes could determine the outcome of the midterm election and ultimately the fate of his Presidency.
