Joe Biden is about to run for president.
But the man’s campaign won’t even get off the launch pad.
This awful decision blew up any chances Biden had at becoming president before he even got into the race.
Joe Biden is almost certain to run for president at this point.
The former Senator and Vice President under Barack Obama is considered by many to be the favorite in what has become a crowded Democratic field of nearly 20 major candidates.
But Biden’s long history in American politics, coupled with his high name ID, standing as Obama’s Vice President, and his ties to the crucial swing region of the Midwest all paint him as a strong choice for the Democratic nomination.
Or so people thought.
Biden, in his quest to fit in with the modern far-left Democratic Party, has reportedly looked at multiple candidates he would want as his vice president.
And his apparent choice for the crucial role could bring about his political downfall.
Breitbart reports, “Advisers for former Vice President Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign-in-waiting are debating whether to name failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams as his running mate, a Thursday report says.”
For starters, Stacey Abrams is completely unqualified to be vice president.
Abrams couldn’t even be elected governor of Georgia.
Her choice for being Biden’s running mate isn’t good for either her or him.
But this gets to another issue for Biden, the fact that he thinks choosing someone like Abrams would help him in getting the Democratic nomination.
Democrats are more fixated on identity politics than they are in the qualifications of the candidates running.
To Biden, Abrams checks all the necessary boxes to be his running mate, even as she checks off no qualifications to be his vice president.
Abrams can’t even concede that she lost the gubernatorial race last year in Georgia.
“Abrams’ failed bid for the governor of Georgia against Republican Brian Kemp garnered her national attention. Despite losing to Kemp 50.2 percent to 48.8 percent, Abrams still refuses to concede the race, accusing her opponent of suppressing black voters to win what was one of the 2018 midterm elections’ most-watched races,” adds Breitbart.
With absolutely no experience at the federal level, or in handling any of the job requirements that come along with being vice president, Biden is handicapping his campaign if he launches it with Abrams on his ticket.
Of course, Democrats are so fixated on race, gender, and identity that they may be willing to give Biden a boost if he does something like this.
But the average American who will be voting in the 2020 general election probably couldn’t care less about this choice for Biden’s running mate.
If Biden goes ahead with this decision, he could be making one of the greatest political mistakes of his career.
Do you think that Biden choosing Stacey Abrams as his running mate would be a good, or bad decision?
