Joe Biden knows where Tara Reade could find the confirmation for her sexual assault allegations.
He’s terrified it will be discovered.
Joe Biden has a secret scandal file that he has to keep hidden at all costs.
Joe Biden’s main appeal to voters has been his charismatic and charming personality.
His campaign was centered on the desire of Americans to return to a more civil world of politics.
The allegations of former aide, Tara Reade, that he sexually assaulted her when he was a prominent Senator, are bad for Joe Biden for two reasons.
The first is it shows that just because Joe Biden can be charming and friendly doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a darker side or that he’s a morally upright person.
Secondly, it shows that the decay in civility is not due to Trump. The Democrats are revealing how hypocritical they are and they aren’t willing to apply the same standard to Biden that they would to Trump or Kavanaugh.
The most shocking part of the whole affair is that Democrats don’t want to look into whether the allegations appear to be valid or not.
Tara Reade is a Democrat who formerly worked for Joe Biden, that doesn’t automatically mean her claims are true, but it does mean her story is worth investigating thoroughly.
Biden’s campaign has access to his sealed Senate records that he donated to the University of Delaware in 2011.
Reade thinks that a sexual harassment complaint she filed with an outside Senate personnel office in 1993 could possibly be contained in those records.
According to the Washington Examiner:
Operatives connected to Joe Biden’s presidential campaign have accessed his Senate records stored at the University of Delaware, which remain sealed from the public, according to a new report.
The revelation comes as Biden faces pressure to release some or all of the records to the public to search for information that corroborates or refutes Tara Reade’s allegations that Biden sexually assaulted and harassed her when she worked in his Senate office in 1993.
A University of Delaware spokeswoman told Business Insider that Biden campaign operatives accessed the archive in the spring of 2019 after he announced his candidacy on April 25, but stressed no one had accessed it since the university’s library closed in mid-March due to the coronavirus.
It is highly important for the public to know what Tara Reade said at the time and how Biden responded.
Has Reade been consistent across time?
How was the issue handled at the time?
These are important questions that need to be answered.
The University of Delaware should do their best to use the records in their possession to inform voters.
If Joe Biden is innocent, he should ask the University of Delaware to release all records on the subject at once.
But he says he’s unwilling to open up the information.
Voters deserve to know what kind of man they’re voting for to become president.
