Democrats think they found a silver bullet for the midterm election.

Democrats stand on the verge of ramming a massive socialist tax-and-spend bill through Congress.
The centerpiece of Joe Biden’s radical agenda contains over $700 billion in economy-crushing taxes which will hit every single income group as well as hundreds of billions of dollars for the Green New Deal.
Democrats claimed the bill would combat inflation by allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices.
Liberals long claimed this would bring down the cost of prescription drugs.
But when the rubber met the road the idea that the government could bring down the cost of medicine by imposing price controls was exposed as a predictable lie.
A Congressional Budget Office (CBO) analysis found the Democrats’ socialist drug pricing scheme would actually increase the cost of prescription medicine.
“The Congressional Budget Office projects that the inflation-rebate and negotiation provisions would increase the launch prices for drugs that are not yet on the market relative to what such prices would be otherwise. That effect would primarily be driven by the inflation-rebate provisions (sections 129101 and 129102), which would begin to apply to prices within 12 months of a given drug’s entering the market. Under those provisions, manufacturers would have an incentive to launch new drugs at a higher price to offset slower growth in prices over time,” a CBO analysis letter read.
The CBO found that the government making it more expensive to launch new drugs would then affect the rebate program included in the socialist spending bill.
“Higher launch prices would primarily affect spending for drugs in the Medicaid program, CBO projects, because an increase in that program’s basic rebate brought about by the higher launch prices would only partly offset those prices. 4 Higher launch prices would also tend to affect spending for drugs covered by Part B of the Medicare program because that program’s payments for those drugs are based on the average sales prices. Over time, slower price growth would attenuate the effect of higher launch prices,” the CBO letter added.
Democrats always do the opposite of what the name implies.
The March 2021 “American Rescue Plan” sent inflation soaring.
This so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” will send inflation higher in the short term and cause the price of prescription drugs to skyrocket.
Every policy Joe Biden and the Democrats imposed on America made life worse for the public.
That’s why polls show Republicans set for a good election cycle.
