James Comey is one of the most hated men in America.
And it isn’t hard to see why.
Comey just said the most hypocritical thing about William Barr that he will live to regret.
James Comey is a disgrace to the rest of the country.
After giving Hillary Clinton a pass in the 2016 elections by announcing there were no broken laws after his FBI investigation dropped the ball, Comey then spent the rest of 2018 cheerleading for Democrats to retake the House of Representatives so they could impeach Donald Trump from office.
The only mistake Trump made when dealing with Comey was not firing him on day one of his administration.
Comey continues to attack the Trump administration, and this time it’s one of the most hypocritical things he would have ever said.
Comey is taking shots at Trump’s Attorney General, William Barr, but he’s going to regret what he just said.
Fox News reports, “Former FBI Director James Comey ripped into Attorney General William Barr on Friday, accusing him of ‘sliming his own department’ after Barr said that government power was used ‘to spy on American citizens.’”
Comey’s words are an act of hypocrisy unlike anything seen before.
“The AG should stop sliming his own Department,” Comey tweeted. “If there are bad facts, show us, or search for them professionally and then tell us what you found.”
“An AG must act like the leader of the Department of Justice, an organization based on truth,” he said. “Donald Trump has enough spokespeople.”
Comey was so humiliated by being caught helping to rig the 2016 election in Clinton’s favor that he’s now resorting to desperate attacks on Barr to change the subject.
And he’s so worried about being forgotten that he’s trying to get his name back out in the press.
But to make matters worse for Comey, he’s now attacking Barr for some of the very things he himself did or failed to do while he was on the job with the FBI.
The hypocrisy coming from Comey is amazing, yet he doesn’t seem to realize it.
“Comey did not specify what comments he was reacting to, but the tweet came after Barr gave interviews to Fox News and The Wall Street Journal about the investigation into the origins of the Russia investigation, that he has tapped U.S. Attorney John Durham to lead,” adds Fox News.
“Barr told Fox News that the investigation will cover the time period between Election Day and Inauguration Day, and he told Fox News’ Bill Hemmer that ‘some very strange developments’ took place during that period.”
The fact that Comey can’t realize he’s attacking Barr for the very things he himself did while in office is unbelievable.
But Comey is so blinded by his own ego that he can’t see it.
“Comey’s comments came just days after former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein accused the former FBI chief of being a ‘partisan pundit’ and trampling on ‘bright lines that should never be crossed,’” concludes Fox News.
