More shocking changes took place at Fox News.
Viewers were completely taken by surprise at the announcement of the latest shake-up.
And that’s because Fox News took this popular host off TV for one jaw-dropping reason.
Jedediah Bila is one the co-hosts of the popular “Fox and Friends” weekend edition.
In a post to her Instagram account, Bila revealed to her followers that she has not been seen on the air because she tested positive for the coronavirus.
I know I’ve been a little MIA. I’m actually at home recovering from Covid-19. I’m very much on the mend, so please don’t worry. My husband is also recovering well at home and Hartley luckily did not get sick (Thank you, God, I am forever grateful.) This is a crazy time in the world, full of so much anxiety and fear. I’ve learned so much this past week and done so much thinking. Know that I’m sending love, peace, and good energy from my family to yours. I’ll be sharing more in coming weeks. Thank you for your messages. I love and miss you all.
Bila is the second Fox News host to get yanked off the air due to a positive coronavirus test.
Fox Business Channel host Lou Dobbs entered self-quarantine after a staffer tested positive for the virus.
Fox News critics pointed to these two positive tests as further evidence the network supposedly “deceived” its audience about the severity of the coronavirus.
In fact, it was the fake news media that lied to the American public about the severity of the coronavirus.
Back in January and into February, the standard line from the corporate fake news media was that the virus was no big deal and could be no worse than the regular flu.
That only changed when so-called “reporters” realized they could make political hay out of the virus and weaponize the outbreak to destroy Donald Trump’s chances to win a second term.
That led fake news outlets to hype apocalyptic scenarios of millions of Americans dying from the coronavirus to scare the public and turn them against the President.
Panicked governors looked at bad data and the fake news hysteria about legitimately bad outbreaks in New York and New Jersey – where there is high population density and significant mass transit – and assumed their states would descend into the same pandemic nightmare as the Northeast.
Governors across the country then – at the urging of the fake news media – locked down their states and sent 16 million Americans to the unemployment line.
Whatever the fake news media criticism of Fox is on the network’s coronavirus coverage, the network’s refusal to buy into the doomsday rhetoric of its peers will end up leaving Fox News as a more credible news outlet than its liberal competitors.
