There are changes occurring at Fox News.
Viewers, including President Trump, are wondering if Fox News is giving in to its liberal critics.
And now Fox News threw a curveball that had viewers asking this one big question.
Fox News is trying to get in on the Democrat Presidential primary.
But the Democrat National Committee banned Fox News Channel from hosting a candidate debate after fake news reporter Jane Mayer published a story in the New Yorker falsely accusing Fox News of being state-run media for the Trump administration.
Since then, Fox News has bent over backwards for the Democrats to prove they “could be fair.”
The network hosted a series of town hall events with Democrat Presidential hopefuls.
News hosts Brett Baier and Chris Wallace moderated softball question-and-answer sessions packed with far-left Democrats to ask questions of their party’s candidates.
Democrats responded by using the time to attack Fox.
South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg smeared Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham as racists with no pushback from Wallace.
But that changed during a town hall with New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand.
Gillibrand is at the bottom of the polls and may not qualify for the second Democrat debate scheduled for September.
So she used her town hall on Fox to attack the network in hopes to boost her support among grassroots liberals.
One of the voters in attendance asked Gillibrand if she supported late term abortions.
Gillibrand responded by smearing Fox News and President Trump as liars for claiming Democrats support infanticide.
“What we have created, unfortunately, is a false choice and a false narrative,” Gillibrand ranted.
“And Chris, I want to talk about the role that Fox News plays in this because it’s a problem. I can tell you before President Trump gave his State of the Union, Fox News talked about infanticide.”
Host Chris Wallace did not take kindly to her lie.
“Senator, I just want to say, we’ve brought you here for an hour,” Wallace responded.
“We’ve treated you very fairly. I understand that maybe to make your credentials with the Democrats who are not appearing on Fox News you want to attack us. I’m not sure it’s frankly very polite when we’ve invited you to be here.”
“Instead of talking about Fox News why don’t you answer Susan’s question,” Wallace concluded.
Gillibrand was referring to President Trump labeling the Democrats as the party of infanticide after New York Governor Andrew Cuomo signed legislation into law that allowed for abortion at any moment up until birth.
In addition, Virginia Governor Ralph Northam explicitly described during a local radio interview the process of killing a child that survived an abortion.
Finally, 43 Senate Democrats voted against the Born Alive Supporters Protection Act which would have mandated medical care for babies born alive after surviving an abortion.
Gillibrand ran with Wallace’s “Not very polite” remark and fundraised off it.
But the real headline out of the event was Fox News standing up for their news coverage in the face of Democrat criticism.
We will keep you up to date on any new developments in this ongoing story.
