Joe Biden thought he built momentum in 2022 and could run for re-election.
But Biden got some bad news.
Fox News hit Joe Biden with a brutal reality check that could force his retirement.
USA Today and Suffolk recently polled 1,000 Americans to determine the public’s ideal qualities for a president.
The poll showed the majority of Americans think the proper age for a president is between 51 and 65 years old.
Fox News host Trace Gallagher introduced a panel segment to discuss the poll’s findings and led with the fact that Americans wanted a president in his early 50s to mid-60s with business experience.
“Americans have had their say about what they want in an ideal president. A new USA Today Suffolk University poll finds they are looking for a 51 to 65-year-old governor with business experience who is willing to compromise to get things done,” Gallagher stated.
Gallagher began the segment by mentioning to former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee that just 0.4% of respondents want a president that is over the age of 80.
“Gentlemen, thank you for coming on. We appreciate it. Governor Huckabee, to you first. I want to mention very quickly that in this poll there was a 0.4% of the people who said that 80 years old is you. You cannot be over 80 years old,” Gallagher added.
Gallagher told viewers that 0.4% in this poll meant just four people out of 1,000 said their ideal president was over the age of 80.
“And as someone pointed out to me, a producer said, that is four people of the thousand people who were polled, here is the ideal age for a president, Governor Huckabee, 51 to 65 years of old. So it’s kind of a two-part question. Do you think President Trump should run? And what do you think about the age limitations?” Gallagher continued.
Joe Biden will turn 82 years old in 2024.
Polls already show that the majority of Americans do not believe Biden is mentally capable of serving as president.
Doubts about Joe Biden’s age and cognitive decline are why exit polls from the midterm elections found 67 percent of voters do not want Joe Biden to run for president in 2024.
Horse-race polling shows that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis would lead Joe Biden in a potential matchup.

Just 0.4 percent of Americans wanting a president over the age of 80 explains why Biden would lose to a younger conservative like DeSantis.
Those poll numbers — just four out of 1,000 Americans wanting a president over the age of 80 — and Biden losing to Ron DeSantis are directly linked.
Democrats know this.
And despite Biden claiming he wants to run for re-election if polls show DeSantis both pulling ahead of Donald Trump for the GOP nomination and beating Joe Biden, top Democrats may then step in and force Joe Biden to pass on re-election.
