Williams argues that success for Trump starts with focusing on raising a lot of money. Even though the Republican nominee receives a considerable amount of free advertising through the media, it won’t be enough to combat Hillary Clinton’s billion dollar campaign war chest. The second point Williams makes is that Trump must start using a conventional approach to campaigning, such as hitting the campaign trail and “stealing the cameras” away from every Hillary Clinton event. Third, Williams maintains that, despite his success on social media, Trump should stay away from, and spend less time on, Twitter. Williams argues that Trump generates his own attention no matter what. And the Clinton campaign will use Twitter as a line-of-attack on Trump’s character as a person – one who is always stealing the spotlight and just wants attention for himself. Finally, the last point Williams makes that will lead Trump down a path of victory, is unleashing his Vice Presidential pick, Mike Pence. According to Williams, Pence is highly intelligent and a policy guru, who will give the Trump campaign the ability to explain their positions in deep detail to reporters.
