Fulton County’s Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis desperately wanted to hide a secret from the American people.
But Willis can’t conceal the truth forever.
And Fani Willis admitted something about her case against Trump that no one saw coming.
District Attorney Willis is hoping that the blaring headlines about Jenna Ellis being the third Trump lawyer to accept a guilty plea in Willis’s racketeering case against Trump and his allies will be all the American people pay attention to.
Willis inducing Ellis to deliver a tearful confession during a television court proceeding where Ellis slammed Donald Trump and the effort to contest the results of the 2020 election only served to bolster the PR effort Willis waged.
Ellis said, “as an attorney who is also a Christian, I take my responsibilities as a lawyer very seriously and I endeavor to be a person of sound moral and ethical character in all my dealings. … In the wake of the 2020 presidential election, I believed that challenging the results on behalf of President Trump should be pursued in a just and legal way. I endeavored to represent my client to the best of my ability…What I did not do, but I should, was make sure the facts that the other lawyers alleged to be true were in fact true. In the frenetic pace of attempting to raise challenges to the election in several states, including Georgia, I failed to do my due diligence.”
But Ellis reading a prepared statement that cable networks like CNN broadcast live only served to highlight the Soviet show-trial aspects of this case.
It was all designed to hide the fact that like Trump lawyers Ken Chesebro and Sidney Powell, Ellis pleaded guilty to a minor crime completely unrelated to the far-reaching conspiracy Willis alleged took place.
Fani’s “guilty” plea deals are not even considered judgments of guilt under Georgia law. How embarrassing.
All “guilty pleas” were actually deferred adjudications under Georgia’s First Offender Act (§ 42-8-60) which means, as the court states below, each defendant will be… pic.twitter.com/kuXHdvZORj

Willis is now zero for four – bail bondsman Scott Hall also pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor unrelated to the RICO charge – in getting a guilty plea on the overarching charge in the case – that Donald Trump and his team engaged in a criminal conspiracy to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
Prosecutors don’t drop conspiracy charges against defendants in plea bargains.
The goal is to get the members of the conspiracy on record saying it existed and admitting it was a criminal act to build the case against the higher-ups.
In this case, the RICO charge is the dog that didn’t bark because even a rogue, ideologically motivated partisan like Fani Willis understands that her indictment against Trump and his allies was nothing more than the criminalization of politics and that the process is the punishment.
Just by bringing the indictment Willis helps Democrats feed their false narrative that Donald Trump is a criminal menace and a threat to overthrow democracy.
