But Biden is holding an ace up his sleeve.
And Donald Trump just got some bad news about the criminal charges against him.
It becomes more clear-cut every day that Joe Biden weaponized the Department of Justice to advance the Democrat Party’s political agenda.
A whirlwind 48-hour period made that clear.
First, a federal judge blew up the Hunter Biden sweetheart plea deal after she realized the Biden Justice Department used the agreement as a vehicle to provide Hunter Biden – and by extension Joe Biden – complete immunity from criminal charges of federal lobbying and failure to register as a foreign agent.
Then anti-Trump special counsel Jack Smith filed three more criminal charges against Trump in the Mar-a-Lago document witch hunt.
And finally, the Biden Justice Department dropped campaign finance charges against Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), the Democrat Party’s second biggest donor in the 2022 election cycle.
Federal authorities charged SBF after the historic meltdown of the FTX cryptocurrency exchange.
The government charged SBF with using customer deposits for real estate purchases and campaign donations among other transactions.
SBF spread $39 million around to 300 Democrat Party-linked causes and groups in the 2022 cycle and $90 million overall in the lifespan of his political giving.
The Biden administration – which sicced the FBI on a former president’s home to execute a search warrant – backed down in the face of the Bahamas threatening not to extradite SBF on technicality if the campaign finance charges stood.
“The Government has been informed that The Bahamas notified the United States earlier today that The Bahamas did not intend to extradite the defendant on the campaign contributions count,” a letter from the Biden Department of Justice announcing it was dropping the campaign finance charge read. “Accordingly, in keeping with its treaty obligations to The Bahamas, the Government does not intend to proceed to trial on the campaign contributions count.”
To Ohio Republican Senator J.D. Vance, the in-your-face nature of the corruption at play would be hilarious if the threat to American democracy was not so serious.
“Hysterical if it wasn’t so tragic. Beginning to believe the best comparison for Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice is the Sicilian mob. It’s basically a protection racket for the Democrats,” Vance posted on Twitter.
The American experiment of self-government depends on the faith in institutions.
But since Donald Trump’s campaign on the scene Americans have seen how the woke left captured the FBI, media, academia, Hollywood, major corporations, the top levels of the military, and now the Justice Department and reoriented them as politically guided missiles pointed straight at Donald Trump and his supporters.
