All hell was breaking loose in Washington.
Democrats could not believe what was about to happen.
Dr. Fauci just told CNN something that made Nancy Pelosi breathe a sigh of relief.
The Biden administration sent Dr. Fauci back out on TV to clean up a mess that Dr. Fauci made.
In an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Dr. Fauci claimed a vaccination mandate for domestic air travel was on the table for consideration.
Dr. Fauci also stated that he supported a Jim Crow-style law segregating air travel for only the vaccinated – not because of any science – because it would force unvaccinated Americans to obey Joe Biden’s forced vaccine regime.
“When you make vaccinations a requirement, that’s another incentive to get more people vaccinated,” Dr. Fauci stated. “If you want to do that with domestic flights, I think that’s something that seriously should be considered.”
Freedom of movement is a constitutionally protected right.
Americans do not need to show any kind of passport to travel inside the country.
There are no checkpoints at state lines.
But in the name of seizing power Dr. Fauci wants to trash that fundamental American value in order to pressure Americans to comply with what Joe Biden hopes will be a permanent biomedical security state.
Democrats know the more mandates and restrictions Joe Biden imposes before the 2022 election, the greater the chances of a Republican sweep.
So the administration sent Dr. Fauci out on CNN to perform damage control.
In an interview with CNN performance artist Jim Acosta, Dr. Fauci said Americans should not expect a vaccine passport system for domestic air travel.
“Right now, I don’t think people should expect that we’re going to have a requirement in domestic flights for people to be vaccinated,” Dr. Fauci stated. “When I was asked that question, I gave an honest answer. It’s on the table, and we consider it. But that doesn’t mean it’s going to happen. I doubt if we’re going to see something like that in the reasonably foreseeable future.
“I don’t see this being announced or happening in the reasonable future unless things change dramatically,” Dr. Fauci added.
Acosta asked Dr. Fauci if he was the only member of the Biden administration that supported a vaccine mandate for domestic air travel.
Dr. Fauci explained that his comments were not intended to express support or opposition for such a scheme.
“No, let’s clarify that, Jim. I said that is something that’s open for consideration. It’s not a question of being in favor of it or not,” Dr. Fauci continued. “I’m in favor of what we can do to keep the country safe. If the situation arises where that’s something we think should be important to do, we’ll do it. Right now, that’s not going to be done. But we never take anything off the table. We always keep things open for consideration.”
Dr. Fauci proposing – and then rejecting – an un-American vaccine passport system for domestic air travel within the span of 12 hours is yet another example of why Americans no longer listen to Dr. Fauci.
The guidance and mandates proposed by Dr. Fauci change by the hour and appear to be based on politics as opposed to science or the facts on the ground.
Democrats were relieved Dr. Fauci reversed course on a vaccine mandate for domestic air travel, but the sooner Dr. Fauci goes away and stays off TV the better.
