Nancy Pelosi is pushing until the very end to destroy Donald Trump.
But Trump fought back.
And now Donald Trump released a damning video that will have Nancy Pelosi quaking with fear.
Nancy Pelosi put together the January 6 committee to cripple Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.
With Republicans set to take over the House of Representatives on January 3 the committee emptied the chamber and released its partisan report blaming Donald Trump for everything that happened on January 6.
And to make sure everyone got the point that the committee’s only objective was to stop Trump 2024 one of the committee’s recommendations was for Congress to pass legislation banning Donald Trump from serving as president using Section 3 of the 14th Amendment which was written to prevent Confederate officers from running for president or Congress.
Trump was not about to let this partisan attack on democracy go unanswered.
In a video released exclusively to The Daily Caller Trump told the truth the committee tried to hide — Nancy Pelosi bore the blame for January 6 by refusing to adequately secure the Capitol.
Trump stated that he offered to deploy 10,000 to 20,000 National Guard troops that day but that “Nancy Pelosi and the D.C. mayor refused.”
Trump said Pelosi rejecting Trump’s offer to deploy the Guard led to the chaos that day.
“If they had listened to me, my recommendation, none of this would have happened, and you wouldn’t have heard about January 6 as you know it,” Trump added.
Trump noted that the committee’s report focused almost exclusively on him and ignored documented law enforcement failures.
“The committee barely discussed the catastrophic security failures at the Capitol, and they didn’t discuss the other thing, the reason why everybody went there: the election, which was a corrupt disaster. They did not discuss why the doors were flung wide open … and they didn’t discuss the role of federal informants,” Trump stated.
Even Democrats on the committee agree with Trump on this point.
The Washington Post reported Democrat staffers complaining that Liz Cheney shaped the committee’s final report to be Trump-centric while leaving out evidence of the Capitol Hill Police’s errors because Cheney wanted to bolster her own 2024 presidential campaign.
“We all came from prestigious jobs, dropping what we were doing because we were told this would be an important fact-finding investigation that would inform the public,” a former committee staffer told the Post. “But when [the committee] became a Cheney 2024 campaign, many of us became discouraged.”
Trump also debunked the false claim by the committee that Trump supporters staged an insurrection to try and overthrow the government.
“The events of January 6 were not an insurrection. They were a protest that tragically got out of control, and which the left has been weaponizing ever since, to censor, spy on and persecute American citizens. The entire phony hoax is about taking away your speech, taking away your vote and taking away your freedom,” Trump continued.
The events of January 6 — while inexcusable — only lasted a few hours where Trump supporters largely milled about the Capitol Building and then went home.
“The Unselect Committee will go down in history as a con job and a disgrace. They want to stop us from taking back our country, but they will fail, they will not win. We will make America great again,” he concluded.

House Republicans assembled a report to rebut the January 6 committee that included more proof Trump was correct.
The report explained that Nancy Pelosi’s office rejected a National Guard deployment out of fear troops at the Capitol would create bad “optics” of the incoming Biden administration deploying men with guns to crush a political protest by the opposition.
“Documents and communications show concerns about the public perception of military personnel at the Capitol and how the use of force by officers against violent protestors were well known among Irving, Democratic leadership, and USCP leadership,” the report stated.
Republicans wrote Pelosi’s failure to request a Guard deployment “diminished” the capacity of the Capitol Hill Police to “effectively defend” the Capitol Building.
