Donald Trump is counting on at least one Republican senator objecting to the Electoral College results on January 6.
Several swamp Republicans are hoping that day will be the end of President Trump.
And Donald Trump had this bad news for a group of RINO traitors in the Senate.
President Trump singled out top RINO Senator John Thune of South Dakota ahead of the vote on certifying the Electoral College.
The President blasted Thune as “Mitch’s boy” and made him the poster child for Republican senators President Trump dragged over the finish line and then tried to abandon Trump and his supporters.
President Trump promised that Thune would face a primary challenge and that his ‘political career is over.’
“Republicans in the Senate so quickly forget. Right now they would be down 8 seats without my backing them in the last Election. RINO John Thune, ‘Mitch’s boy’, should just let it play out. South Dakota doesn’t like weakness. He will be primaried in 2022, political career over!!” Donald Trump wrote on social media.
The President’s tweet came after Thune rejected the idea that a Republican senator would object to the results of the Electoral College and force a vote on the matter.
Thune claimed that it would “go down like a shot dog.”
“I don’t know that anyone is committed to doing it,” Thune thundered. “But the thing they’ve got to remember is, it’s just not going anywhere. It’s going down like a shot dog. And I just don’t think it makes a lot of sense to put everybody through this when you know what the ultimate outcome is going to be.”
But President Trump doubled down on his threat and reminded Republicans that all the “experts” thought the Democrats would sweep the GOP out of power in the Senate until Donald Trump drove historic GOP turnout in 2020.
“I saved at least 8 Republican Senators, including Mitch, from losing in the last Rigged (for President) Election. Now they (almost all) sit back and watch me fight against a crooked and vicious foe, the Radical Left Democrats. I will NEVER FORGET!” President Trump added.
One of President Trump’s advisors told POLITICO that the President was building infrastructure to challenge disloyal GOP senators and governors in primaries in 2022.
“President Trump has the biggest social media influence and the biggest political war chest in the country, and he’s not going to be afraid to use it in 2022 to elect pro-Trump Republicans — even if that means wading into primaries,” the Trump advisor told POLITICO.
Polls show over 70 percent of Republicans think Joe Biden stole the election and is an illegitimate President.
Republican senators that vote to certify what their voters believe to be clear and obvious fraud are putting their careers at risk.
And Donald Trump is letting one of the leading RINOs know that his time will be up if he goes along with the steal.
