The 2020 presidential campaign continues to be in flux.
Candidates rise and fall as the fake news media claims Democrats are sure to defeat President Trump next November.
And this brand new 2020 poll had one hidden surprise for Donald Trump.
Democrats continue to shop around for a candidate to take on President Trump.
When the campaign started, former Vice President Joe Biden stood out as the odds-on favorite to win the nomination.
But a series of poor debate performances and questions about Biden’s declining mental faculties led to Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren briefly eclipsing him as the frontrunner for the nomination.
An October Quinnipiac poll found Warren leading the field at 28 percent of the vote.
But one month later and Quinnipiac’s November told a different story.
Warren’s support plunged 14 points and Joe Biden once again led the field.
One reason for Warren’s collapse was Warren’s embrace of the $20 trillion-dollar socialist takeover of healthcare.
Polling showed support for government-run healthcare that banned private insurance tanked in popularity as Democrats realized the massive tax increases on every American necessary to fund the program rendered it a political loser.
In a press release accompanying the poll, Quinnipiac pollster Tim Malloy explained the new state of the Democrat Party race.
“Medicare for All has grown increasingly unpopular among all American voters, as 36 percent say it is a good idea and 52 percent say it is a bad idea. In a March 26, 2019 poll, 43 percent said good idea, while 45 percent said bad idea. The highest support came in an August 3, 2017 poll when voters said it was a good idea 51 – 38 percent,” the statement read.
A government takeover of healthcare defined the Democrat Party nominating contest.
Americans that may have been open to supporting a Democrat in 2020 recoiled at the fact that many of the party’s top contenders proposed making private health insurance for 180 million Americans illegal.
The declining support for a socialist healthcare takeover was not the only bad news in the Quinnipiac poll for Democrats.
Quinnipiac’s November poll found a complete reversal on support for impeachment.
The Democrats’ public show trial hearings landed with a thud as more Americans now opposed impeachment than supported it.
“The country remains closely divided on whether to impeach and remove President Trump from office. While 45 percent of American voters think President Trump should be impeached and removed from office, 48 percent don’t think he should be. In an October 23 poll, 48 percent thought he should be impeached and removed and 46 percent didn’t think so,” the statement continued.
Despite what the fake and corrupt news media claims, Donald Trump is well-positioned to win re-election.
That’s because the entire Democrat Party field lurched so far to the left by staking their 2020 appeal to voters on support for a socialist takeover of healthcare and an un-American impeachment coup against the President.
