Right after Donald Trump won in 2016, the media pressured social media firms to ban “fake news.”
Anti-Trump reporters claimed Trump won because fake news spread on Twitter and Facebook.
But their real complaint was that the American people could get news from other sources.
In reality, the media wants to own the flow of information.
The liberal press believes if they can control what news you see, then Republicans are less likely to win elections.
Since liberals run all of these firms, tech giants began to comply with these demands.
CNN began a campaign to ban Alex Jones of InfoWars as a test case for suppressing conservative content on the internet.
Apple, Facebook, Google, and Spotify recently banned pro-Trump radio host Alex Jones from their sites.
Trump supporters then worried this was the first step in the social media working to censor their views ahead of the election.
A Top Clinton Ally Confirms Conservatives Worst Fears
Former Bill Clinton pollster Mark Penn appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show.
Penn spilled the beans about how liberal social media companies will meddle in the election.
The former Clinton pollster stated, “Because of the amount of time people spend on them, and it’s a funnel. If you’re not at the top, you don’t get seen.”
Penn said social media sites put in place systems they claim are neutral.
But that really their true goal is to censor conservative speech.
“In the past, they had some neutral ways of doing this, but now they’ve increasingly applied still more mysterious algorithms, plus individual censors,” he stated.
Penn said liberal tech giants get away with suppressing right-leaning Americans because they are private companies.
He also claimed America needed laws stating the First Amendment applies on the internet.
“Remember, they are private platforms, they say, so they’re not actually subject to the First Amendment, unless we get some legislation that says, ‘Free Speech is an Internet right,’” Penn concluded.

Social Media Giants are silencing millions of people. Can’t do this even if it means we must continue to hear Fake News like CNN, whose ratings have suffered gravely. People have to figure out what is real, and what is not, without censorship!
