Another shoe just dropped in the FBI’s anti-Trump conspiracy.
More text messages from the former high-ranking FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page have been made public.
And they are bad news for Barack Obama.
Tex messages dated in September 2016 reveal that Page had texted Strzok saying, “Obama wanted to know everything.”
Fox News reports:
“Newly revealed text messages between FBI paramours Peter Strzok and Lisa Page include an exchange about preparing talking points for then-FBI Director James Comey to give to President Obama, who wanted “to know everything we’re doing.”
The message, from Page to Strzok, was among thousands of texts between the lovers reviewed by Fox News. The pair both worked at one point for Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe of alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
Page wrote to Strzok on Sept. 2, 2016, about prepping Comey because “potus wants to know everything we’re doing.” According to a newly released Senate report, this text raises questions about Obama’s personal involvement in the Clinton email investigation.”
The texts were made just one month prior to the FBI using the fake news Russia dossier to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on Trump campaign aide Carter Page.
And they raise serious questions about Obama’s involvement with the counterintelligence investigation the FBI opened in July 2016 into the Trump campaign and possible collusion ties with Russia.
The text messages could be alluding to the FBI’s investigation into Trump’s alleged Russian meddling.
But that calls into question what “everything” meant.
Did it also mean letting Obama in on the status of the investigation into the Trump campaign?
What did Obama know about this investigation and when did he know it?
It’s clear that the highest levels of the FBI and Department of Justice weaponized the surveillance state against Trump.
But did Obama know they used fake news in order to spy on a Trump campaign aide?
Did he know the origins of the Steele dossier?
And if so, was he in cahoots with the Clinton campaign?
These are all serious questions that demand answers.
