President Trump has already survived two assassination attempts.
Americans weren’t prepared for this bad news,
And all hell broke loose when Trump heard this sickening sound of gunfire.
The big story coming out of the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner was that President Trump attended for the first time while in office.
President Trump expected to enjoy comedy skits and roast members of the Trump-hating media once it was time for his routine.
Instead, the Secret Service rushed the dais where President Trump, the First Lady, Vice President J.D. Vance, and press secretary Karoline Leavitt sat and escorted them to safety after gunfire rang out.

A gunman named Cole Allen attempted to bumrush the ballroom while armed.
Allen opened fire and allegedly hit an agent in the chest, where a bulletproof vest saved their life.
Law enforcement took down Allen and brought him into custody.
Allen lives in California, donated $25 to ActBlue that was earmarked for Kamala Harris’ 2024 Presidential campaign, and lists “he/him” pronouns in his social media bio.

Washington interim police chief Jeffery Carroll gave an update to reporters that Allen was a guest at the Washington Hilton, where the WHCAD dinner was held, and that he was “armed with a shotgun, a handgun, and multiple knives”.
Police don’t suspect Allen was part of a larger plot.
“At this point, it does appear he is a lone actor, a lone gunman,” the police chief said.
Trump posted on social media shortly thereafter that he was safe, the suspect was in custody, and that it was up to the Secret Service to determine if the event would continue.
“Quite an evening in D.C. Secret Service and Law Enforcement did a fantastic job. They acted quickly and bravely. The shooter has been apprehended, and I have recommended that we ‘LET THE SHOW GO ON,’ but will be entirely guided by Law Enforcement. They will make a decision shortly. Regardless of that decision, the evening will be much different from planned, and we’ll just plain have to do it again. President DONALD J. TRUMP,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
The event was later canceled on account of the attempted mass shooting.
