Attorney General William Barr is facing fire from all sides.
But now William Barr is facing his biggest threat yet.
And all hell is breaking loose after Barr was betrayed by this backstabbing Republican.
Rogue Michigan Congressman Justin Amash made waves when he became the first Republican to betray the GOP and lock arms with Nancy Pelosi and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in calling for Donald Trump’s impeachment.
Amash basked in the glow of favorable media coverage.
But Amash did not stop there.
The Michigan Republican continued his unhinged rant against the Trump administration by unleashing a flood of lies on social media about Attorney General William Barr.
Amash accused Barr of lying to Congress and the American people by downplaying the seriousness of the Mueller investigation’s findings.
“Attorney General Barr has deliberately misrepresented key aspects of Mueller’s report and decisions in the investigation, which has helped further the president’s false narrative about the investigation,” Amash falsely claimed.
Amash continued his assault on the truth and the rule of law saying, “As a result of Barr’s March 24 letter, the public and Congress were misled. Mueller himself notes this in a March 27 letter to Barr, saying that Barr’s letter “did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance of this Office’s work and conclusions.””
But in this instance, it is Amash who is doing the misrepresenting.
Mueller’s letter complained that the media did not provide enough negative coverage after Barr released the summary of his findings.
In fact, Attorney General Barr testified that he asked Mueller if anything in his March 24 letter was inaccurate and Mueller said no.
Barr said Mueller was on speakerphone and other people were in the room who took notes of the call.
So there is a record that proves Amash is nothing but a crazed anti-Trump liar.
But that didn’t stop Amash from outrageously accusing Barr of perjuring himself before Congress.
Barr was asked about reports “that members of [Mueller’s] team are frustrated…with the limited information included in your March 24th letter, that it does not adequately or accurately necessarily portray the report’s findings. Do you know what they’re referencing with that?” Amash continued. “Barr absurdly replied: “No, I don’t…I suspect that they probably wanted more put out.” Yet Mueller had directly raised those concerns to Barr, and Barr says he “suspect[s]” they “probably” wanted more materials put out, as if Mueller hadn’t directly told him that.”
However, in that hearing, Barr was not asked if Mueller expressed any concern.
Congressman Charlie Crist asked Barr if he heard from Mueller’s team.
And Barr truthfully testified that he did not.
But truth and facts don’t matter to Justin Amash.
He’s driven by one of the most extreme cases of Trump Derangement System ever seen.
Amash is suffering from such a massive infection that he threw out his principles on upholding the Constitution to support a police-state espionage campaign against Donald Trump.
