The Democrats have no more loyal corporate media ally than CNN.
But not even CNN could run cover for Joe Biden any longer.
And all hell broke loose when CNN admitted something terrible about Joe Biden.
CNN White House correspondent Jeff Zeleny admitted what was previously an unspeakable truth in the corporate media.
And that is that Joe Biden is senile.
Zeleny reacted with horror to Joe Biden’s interview with friendly ABC liberal personality David Muir where Biden could not remember key facts and appeared confused.
In an appearance with host Wolf Blitzer, Zeleny focused on the fact that the cognitively declining Joe Biden could not remember his administration announced a plan to order 500 million rapid tests and instead erroneously claimed the administration signed a deal for 500 million anti-viral pills from Pfizer.
“Repeatedly throughout this interview … President Biden seems confused and was confusing the half a billion tests that they’ve ordered with a half a billion pills. And, of course, pills were in the news today with the Pfizer approval of the anti-viral, so he corrected himself, but that was one thing that stuck out to me,” Zeleny stated.
In the interview Biden told Muir that “I wish I had thought about ordering a half a billion pills two months ago before COVID hit here.”
This statement revealed two frightening examples of Joe Biden’s senility.
As Zeleny noted, Biden claimed to order 500 million rapid tests and not half a billion COVID treatment pills.
But Biden – in fact – did think to order more rapid tests two months ago.
On September 9 Biden spoke to the nation about his latest COVID plan that Biden pitched as an effort to turn around his administration’s failed response to the pandemic.
Biden told Americans his administration intended to “purchase nearly 300 million rapid tests for distribution … so that every American, no matter their income, can access free and convenient tests.”
In the interview with Muir, Biden plainly forgot his speech from just three months prior where Biden announced an initiative to order 300 million rapid at-home tests.
Of course, the administration never followed up on this plan.
Critics contend one reason the administration may not have carried out the plan to buy the tests is because Biden’s declining mental faculties caused him to forget about the proposal to purchase 300 million rapid tests.
Biden clearly did not remember the September speech when he spoke to Muir.
And given Biden’s repeated confused and bizarre public appearances where Biden only delivers scripted remarks and largely avoids taking questions from reporters that are not hand-selected in advance, Biden does not get the benefit of the doubt that this was just a simple case of memory lapse.
Zeleny – however – was not through with Biden.
The left-wing CNN correspondent – who once proved how biased he was by asking Barack Obama what enchanted Obama the most about being president – tore into Biden for failing to ramp up the nation’s COVID testing supply as Americans faced shortages and long wait times to test to see if they are positive for coronavirus.
“But then simply this administration, and the president leading the charge here, really not accepting any responsibility at all for this lack of testing,” Zeleny stated. “We’ve seen these images across the country, long lines, just the inability to get tests. And yes, omicron came on very quickly here, but it has been almost a month since Thanksgiving where they knew this was coming.”
CNN would never turn on a Democrat president like Joe Biden if they thought he was politically useful.
But CNN sees the same polls everyone else does that shows Donald Trump leading Biden in a 2024 rematch so on-air talent like Zeleny bury Biden as a way to force Biden to step down so Democrats can field a new candidate in 2024.
