President Trump and his supporters got some bad news.
The day they were dreading finally arrived.
And all hell broke loose when Big Tech shut down Donald Trump.
For years Democrats like Kamala Harris and fake news media activists demanded social media companies ban Donald Trump.
They knew that Facebook and Twitter allowed the President to speak directly to the public without the fake news media distorting his words and they pressed their ideological fellow travelers in Silicon Valley to censor the President of the United States.
After the riots at the Capitol, Big Tech swooped in for the kill.
Facebook and Twitter blamed President Trump for inciting the violence and suspended his accounts.
But days later the temporary bans became permanent.
After Twitter restored the President’s posting privileges, the social media platform quickly reversed course and suspended the President’s account permanently.
“After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence,” a statement from Twitter read.
Twitter outrageously argued that President Trump tweeting that he would not attend Joe Biden’s inauguration encouraged violent attacks in the Capitol that Twitter claimed were being planned for January 17.
President Trump responded by posting to his official POTUS government Twitter account declaring that social media and the Democrats launched a coordinated political attack to silence their opposition and attack the 75,000,000 Americans that voted for President Trump.
“As I have been saying for a long time, Twitter has gone further and further in banning free speech, and tonight, Twitter employees have coordinated with the Democrats and the Radical Left in removing my account from their platform, to silence me — and YOU, the 75,000,000 great patriots who voted for me,” President Trump wrote.
President Trump added that he was talking to other platforms about starting a new account or even building a new social media platform to promote free speech.
“Twitter may be a private company, but without the government’s gift of Section 230 they would not exist for long. I predicted this would happen and have been negotiating with various other sites, and will have a big announcement soon, while we also look at the possibilities of building out our own platform in the near future. We will not be SILENCED! Twitter is not about FREE SPEECH. They are all about promoting a Radical Left platform where some of the most vicious people in the world are allowed to speak freely. STAY TUNED,” President Trump added.
Big Tech waited until the Democrats won a Senate majority and controlled every lever of power in Washington to lower the boom on Republicans and execute a power play to decapitate the ability of President Trump and many of his most prominent supporters to communicate in the digital public square.
