Iran keeps testing President Trump’s patience.
But time is running out.
And Donald Trump is poised to unleash hell if Iran makes this bad mistake.
Iran refuses to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
And Iran refuses to seriously engage in peace talks.
Iran reportedly rejected a 15-point plan put forth by the U.S. to impose a one-month ceasefire to give time for the U.S. and Iran to negotiate a broader deal to end the war.
“Iran does not accept a ceasefire,” a source told the Telegram channel belonging to the Fars News Agency reported.
“Basically, it is not logical to enter into such a process with those who violate the agreement,” the source added.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt warned that Iran’s attempt to try to wait out President Trump will prove disastrous.
Trump reportedly ordered 1,000 paratroopers and elements of the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East.
There are now over 50,000 troops stationed in the region.
The President is ready to escalate the threat if Iran blows off his deadline to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt warned Iran that it’s already paid a steep price for underestimating Trump.
“Iran should not miscalculate again,” Leavitt told reporters, adding that Iran’s previous refusal to take President Trump’s threats seriously cost them “their senior leadership, their navy, their air force, and their air defense system.”
Leavitt went on to say that Trump will “unleash hell” if Iran refuses to accept its defeat.
“If they fail to understand that they have been defeated militarily and will continue to be, President Trump will ensure they are hit harder than they have ever been hit before,” Leavitt added, reminding everyone that “President Trump does not bluff and he is prepared to unleash hell.”
American forces struck over 9,000 targets, sank more than 50 Iranian ships, and degraded over 90 percent of Iran’s ballistic missile and drone capabilities.
Leavitt said any more death and destruction belonged on Iran’s side of the ledger for continuing this war.
“Any violence beyond this point,” Leavitt continued, “will be because the Iranian regime refused to understand they have already been defeated and refused to come to a deal.”
President Trump is a deal maker, and he would prefer a peaceful solution to this conflict, Leavitt stated.
But the likelihood of that outcome rests with Iran’s ability to accept reality and agree to end a war they’ve already lost.
“The president’s preference is always peace,” Leavitt concluded. “There does not need to be any more death and destruction.”
