When Donald Trump campaigned for re-election in 2020, he warned the American people about Joe Biden.
Joe Biden’s sinking poll numbers show a large segment of the American people are turning against Biden and the Democrats.
And one Donald Trump prediction about Joe Biden just came true. Here’s why it’s bad news.
On November 3, 2020, Donald Trump predicted gas would hit $7 a gallon if Joe Biden won the election.

Trump predicted this due to Biden campaigning on a Green New Deal-style platform to restrict domestic energy production.
President Trump explained that Biden wanted to limit the supply of American oil and natural gas to drive up the price.
Biden needs high gas prices to force Americans to accept costly, inefficient and ineffective “green” energy sources such as wind and solar.
“They [wind farms] ruin the environment, they kill the birds and they cost a fortune,” Trump stated. “We have natural gas…costs us nothing. Actually nothing. They burn it off. When you look at all of those flames on top of the wells, that’s natural gas that they burn off. They throw [it] away…and we want to give that away for windmills.”
Donald Trump doubled down on this prediction in an interview with Newsmax last May.

Trump’s prediction came true as gas hit its highest average price per gallon and some areas of the country saw gas prices reach $7 a gallon.
Record-high gas prices are a big reason why multiple polls show Donald Trump defeating Joe Biden in a rematch in 2024.
Gas prices are now to surge even higher.
The United States and the United Kingdom announced a plan to ban Russian imports.
Bloomberg reports:
The U.S. and the U.K. will impose a ban on U.S. imports of Russian energy on Tuesday without the participation of European allies, according to people familiar with the matter.
The U.S. ban will include Russian oil, liquefied natural gas and coal, according to two people, who spoke on condition of anonymity. The decision was made in consultation with European allies, who rely more heavily than the U.S. on Russian energy, another person said.
The U.K. move will be done in concert with the U.S. and the ban will be phased in over the coming months, according to the person, who requested anonymity speaking about policy that hasn’t yet been announced. The ban won’t apply to Russian gas, the person said.
Biden did not announce a companion plan to ratchet up domestic production of oil and natural gas to offset the loss of the 670,000 barrels of oil a day America imports from Russia.
That’s why many fear this ban on Russian oil is really a backdoor plan to impose a Green New Deal destruction of the fossil fuel industry.
And that will make Donald Trump’s prediction of $7 a gallon gasoline look conservative.
