Barack Obama’s presidency is rife with scandal.
Investigators are still trying to uncover all the wrongdoing and illegal conduct.
And now Democrats got caught destroying evidence that would convict Barack Obama in a big crime.
Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan is set to chair the House Judiciary Committee in the new Republican majority.
Jordan is already getting a head start on the investigations he intends to launch into how Democrats weaponized the federal government against conservatives.
But what Jordan already uncovered appalled him.
Jordan fired off a letter to the director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ordering the agency to stop destroying evidence from Barack Obama’s “Operation Fast and Furious” scandal.
“Although the ATF apparently intends to forget its dangerous misconduct in Operation Fast and Furious, the scandal is still a matter of public concern. In fact, earlier this year, prosecutors in Mexico charged seven individuals with crimes related to Operation Fast and Furious, including Mexico’s former top police official and a former Mexican Federal Police commander. Given the potential for ongoing criminal and possible civil actions, it is not in the interest of justice for the ATF to destroy potential evidence associated with Operation Fast and Furious. I request that you immediately take steps to preserve all evidence associated with Operation Fast and Furious and confirm in writing that you have done so,” Jordan’s letter read.
“Operation Fast and Furious” was exponentially worse than Watergate as it involved Barack Obama’s administration trafficking guns to Mexican drug cartels.
Two of the guns from this harebrained scheme were used in the killing of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.
The Department of Justice put “Operation Fast and Furious” into motion shortly after Barack Obama visited the border in April 2009 and pushed for stricter gun control claiming Mexican drug cartels carried out acts of violence due to the fact that supposedly lax gun laws in America allowed them to obtain caches of firearms.
“This war is being waged with guns purchased not here but in the United States … more than 90% of the guns recovered in Mexico come from the United States, many from gun shops that lay in our shared border,” Obama declared.
Obama completely made up the 90 percent figure, but to bolster Obama’s push to gut the Second Amendment the ATF pressured gun store owners in Arizona to sell firearms to known criminals who intended to traffic the guns to Mexico.
Under “Operation Fast and Furious” thousands of guns found their way into the hands of murderous Mexican drug cartels for the simple reason that the Obama administration thought Mexican drug cartels murdering people with firearms bought in America would help them shred the United States Constitution.
The end result was the administration facilitating the killing of a U.S. Border Patrol agent.
When Republicans won the majority in 2010, they began investigating the Obama administration.
Then-Attorney General Eric Holder defied a congressional subpoena to testify, and the House voted to hold him in contempt of Congress.
The Justice Department — run by Eric Holder — refused to prosecute.
In 2022 the Biden Justice Department chose to prosecute Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro on contempt of Congress charges after they declined to honor a subpoena to testify before the January 6 committee.
That was just one example of the two-tiered justice system in America.
But Republicans are not done yet with “Operation Fast and Furious.”
And Barack Obama and his underlings may yet still face accountability for the death and carnage they wrought in the name of pushing gun control.
