Barack Obama is a bitter ex-president.
Obama never misses an opportunity to show it.
And Barack Obama will make your blood boil with this disgusting attack on Trump.
Obama will use every public appearance to trash Trump no matter the forum or the question he’s asked.
That is exactly what happened when “Daily Show” host Trevor Noah interviewed Obama and asked Obama about how to help the 70 percent of the world’s population that lives under autocracy to transition to a democracy.
“Now I think 70% of the world is living in a state where they’re either ruled – where it’s a complete autocracy or it isn’t a democracy,” Noah began.
“One, why do you think the world has gotten there?” Noah asked. “What can we do, or why should we then try to get back to this democracy?”
Obama took a question about people around the world living under tyranny and seized on it to attack Trump claiming that individuals were resistant to change and when rapid change occurred they looked to leaders who promised to restore the way things were – a clear attack on the popularity of Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan.
“What you’ve seen happen, I think, in a whole bunch of places, is essentially a pushback, a backlash to change that is happening too fast for their comfort. And when people are pushing back against change, then they’re vulnerable to politicians who say, ‘You know what? I can make things just like it was back then, when you were feeling more important,’” Obama began.
This answer was not just an attack on Trump, but his supporters.
Obama smeared Trump supporters as bigoted whites that reacted harshly to growing black and Hispanic populations in America.
It was another riff on his famous line that rural voters bitterly cling to guns and religion in the face of changing demographics.
“And so part of what I think we have to do is to stand fast on the principles of equality and self-governance and representation, and ‘everybody gets a seat at the table,’” Obama continued.
Obama continued talking down to Trump supporters acting like they were rubes and if liberals just spoke slowly enough they could convince rural conservatives to support his left-wing agenda.
“But I think we have to also find a language and a story – a way of telling the story about how we can get together that does not threaten people who are aren’t as comfortable with change as much. And that’s gonna be different for different countries,” Obama concluded.
Obama likes to tell himself and other liberals that American politics is toxic because of Fox News and conservative media.
But in reality, it is Obama’s condescending arrogance where he speaks of Americans that do not share the cosmopolitan liberal values that Obama represents as somehow subhuman savages that the left needs to treat with pity because they don’t know any better.
